The product description says warm light but the pictures posted look a little harsh. Do they really give off a warm light, I don't want harsh cool light.

Can i use regular batteries instead of rechargeable? i had some of these, different brand, for years using regular batteries and they last 4 years. i did replace batteries a couple of times. They also said to use rechargeable batteries, but i never did.

In Florida coast, there are hurricane risk, will these lights stay put in the groud?

My question is for Hampton Bay what is the lifespan of these lights? My current brand is finally dying, I have had them for about 2 years. I live in Florid and my front yard is in intense sun from noon until sunset.

Can these lights be kept out in the cold northeast winter?

Thank you for your question. The only way to buy individual lights is to order the parts as replacement items by calling Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678). It would be less expensive and more cost effective to purchase the 10 pack and keep 5 as backups.
The directions say to remove the pull tab between the top cover and the housing. However, all my lights arrived in the box with the top on and the pull tab inside. The top does not seem like it can be removed. How can I open and remove the pull tab?
