This added life to my porch!
I absolutely love my patio set. I got it assembled by a friend, and it may have taken a couple of hours to assemble it but it was well worth it.

NOPE
I’ve had this table for less than 12 months. Yesterday, out of nowhere, the glass top shattered into a billion pieces. It was a nice, sunny day, hardly any breeze, and nothing came in contact with it. Thankfully none of my kids were outside when this happened. And go figure the manufacturer warranty doesn’t cover the table top. 0/10 do not recommend this piece of garbage.

Ditto! Buyers Beware!
If you’re going to buy this patio set, have a game plan for preventing rust. Keep in mind the steel frame’s 2-year warranty is only good if you keep the furniture covered, according to Hampton Bay customer service! After 14 months, the finish on the base of all the chairs and table peeled off in large pieces, and the steel rusted very quickly. The arms of the chairs did not rust; too bad the whole thing wasn’t built with the same finish as the armrests.

Frames are all rusted out
We had this for a couple of years and they are all rusted out. The bottom of each chair is all rusted out and broken. The table legs are rusting out. We have them located u set our house to protect them from the harsh sun rays.
I am really disappointed in the company

Buyer Beware
This furniture looks great and is super comfortable, but while it is touted as outdoor patio furniture it does not hold up to the weather at all. Specifically, the chairs rusted out after 16 months. The warranty is for three years on the frame but Home Depot claims it doesn't cover rust. It doesn't specifically say that in the warranty but they say its covered under "acts of nature" ie. rain. I have owned other brand outdoor furniture for many years and they never rusted. So this stuff is really cheap and you get what you pay for. So sad that Home Depot won't stand by their in house brand and sadder that they should even sell stuff like this.

Hampton Bay patio furniture.

Chairs rusted within one year of purchase!
The patio furniture was nicely designed and fit well in our covered patio, however, it rusted within fifteen months of purchase. Pieces of all four chairs are rusted and falling off. It was sold as outside patio furniture, but even in a covered patio rusted badly.

We are sorry to hear about this. This set is powder coated which makes it weather resistant, but under that powder coating is a steel frame. Steel is prone to rust when exposed to the elements. We recommend aluminum if you live in a climate that experiences heavy rain/snow, or is near water.

Strange - chairs hold water few days after rain
Very odd. The chairs seem to retain water for a few days after rain. So even sitting on a folded towel, the chairs hold water which leaks through the towel, even a couple days after rain. Water runs down my leg and looks rusty. Only owned 2 weeks now. So a little concerned that the chairs will rust out over time, due to water retention. This Hampton Bay set is a little different than my old set. The chairs don't recline as much as my older set.

The chairs are filled with a quick dry polyfill material. They do dry faster than other padding used on furniture. If the chairs do get wet, we suggest tilting the chair forward or side to side to remove any standing water in the seat, gently pat underneath the sling seat and repeat the tilt of the chair forward or side to side and lastly make sure the chair is in the sun during the drying period. This is a steel set, and the inside of the frames are not powder coated like the outside so when water gets in the frame, rusty water can drain. We recommend covering the set while not in use to prevent rusting and wet seats.

So far so good
Easy to assemble, takes about 3 hours. On the chairs, i did each step on all the chairs instead of 1 at a time. Seems like a solid build so far. Like the look. Great value in comparison to similar setups.
