how can I put them along my walk way going to my door?

I live on the second floor. Would i be able to zip tie this to the balcony or does it need to stick in the ground?
Zip ties should work fine. Would probably use two or three on the solar panel to be sure it is stable and does not move around in the wind. Need to keep it as much in the direct sunlight as possible. Be sure to get the ties tight and clip off the excess. This will help ensure no one gets scratched by the tie and it just looks better.
No . I ziped tie mine to a metal fence post. Just make sure that the panel is pointing toward the Sun
Thank you for your question. The solar panel is not required to stick in the ground. The only requirement is that the solar panel must be located in an area that receives at least 8 hours of full, direct sunlight to allow the batteries to charge.

Yes. I used some extra zip/cable ties to attach it to a railing slat using the plastic thing that was to go into ground. It needs to be pointed to the sun so it gets direct sunlight for at least 4 hours.

No but easy enough to put up 2 strings no need to connect
