we bought the small boxes to go with the small windows. The flower boxes have an interior liner than is easily removed and VERY sturdy. The wood on the exterior is thick and paintable. See my photos. The shed is the Majestic 8x12 wood storage shed sold at home depot. Its SO worth the money for what you get. This is the second one we bought for our new house. The windows, flower boxes and shutters were a great add on.

The flower box comes unassembled and unpainted so you have many options to prep and finish it to your own specifications. The only problem I had was with instructions: I found the diagrams to be a bit ambiguous and I needed to make a few adjustments. As long as you are handy and can figure such things out on your own, you probably won't have any problems. It comes with its own (somewhat small) plastic liner and I took that with me to the local garden shop so that I would be able to choose the appropriate size flowers for the box.
Overall this is a good product and I recommend it only with the recommendations above.

The wood used has defects and was not sanded & the pre-made parts were crooked. I ordered two boxes that came in separate pkgs but only one included the screws and nails to complete the construction and mounting. I called & was told it would take 2 weeks to receive. So I had to buy them. Worth 1/2 the price!
