This review is on the Hansgrohe Tails Select S Higharc Kitchen Faucet. Grohe is a brand that always delivers quality. In this case this faucet’s body is constructed of brass not cheap plastic or rustable cheap metal. The outside is made of a stainless steel that wipes clean in an instant. This faucet boasts a 150 degree swivel spout and even has a start/stop feature of water flow at the top of the spray head. You can pull out the spray hose as far as you like and like a bartender you can press the button to start the flow of water – love it. The 1.75 GPM is more than enough. In fact we always have to back it off and only use half of its output. If you turn the faucet on full blast and there happens to be a spoon directly under the flow of water it becomes Niagara Falls – lol. It’s a single hole install which is a breeze to install. It’s sleek, stylish and modern and It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. A total thumbs up.

This Hansgrohe faucet not only looks great, it's probably one of the highest quality faucets on the market today. It's shipped with this clever hose-organizer that fits under the sink. It's GROHE's way of keeping a person from having to crawl under the sinks when those ever-flopping hoses get tangled. Great idea.It also has several silicone parts for the faucet aerators, shower jets and nozzles so that dirt and limescale can be rubbed off easily. When you keep limescale from accumulating, faucets just last longer. You can also turn this faucet on and off with just a click of a button. It's an absolutely beautiful product. I'm going to install it this weekend. I expect it to take about an hour from start to finish which include cleaning up under the sink. I just wanted to show it off before the lower half becomes hidden forever. My advice: Go buy one. It should last 50 years.

Ok, one look at the instructions, and I thought..."oh, crap"....how complicated can it be to exchange faucets???? But really, it wasn't that bad....although the instructions could have been a little clearer. Now, I had some side issues, which made the project longer, but by the end I was soooo over the cute little Euro-clever (which I am usually a fan of) screws on the box that holds the spray hose. Under the sink of my 1980's rancher is a freaking mess....I didn't need one more piece of wood support (b/c the center of my faucet was waaaay more than 1 1/8" from the wall) and cute screws that I didn't have enough room to turn. Give me a little wrench any time. My other two issues are no screws????? come one...that is just cheap...and no plate. I mean, these are beautiful high-end fixtures....include the plate; not "sold separately". Anyhow, I cleaned up and re-used my old plate. All whining aside, the fixture is beautiful, kind of low pressure, but sooooo quiet. I love the color coding on the handle ( I can never remember back is hot) and the pause button on top is great. Love it.

This review is for the Hansgrohe Talis Select S HighArc Kitchen Faucet, 2-Spray Pull-Out with sBox, 1.75 GPM. I’m wasn’t familiar with this brand so I looked up some information as to where products are manufactured (since some folks are interested in knowing where products are manufactured). Hansgrohe has manufacturing locations in several countries including the USA; its headquarters is in Germany. While this is a striking, modern looking faucet, I don’t find it particularly easy to use. It’s expensive, so I expect ease of use. The pull-down sprayer was awkward for me to use around a sink and I wasn’t fond of the shape of the handle. As far as installation, it’s what you would expect when replacing an existing faucet. No real issues there. In one description I read that the faucet was “intuitive” and I’m not sure what that means in reference to a kitchen faucet as it is wasn’t able to anticipate how I would be using it in any particular situation. It is well-made, but I don’t find that I can recommend it because of the awkwardness of use and the price.

Well constructed. Smooth operation. Polished chrome. Sturdy. 1-3/8" hole size. Max depth of mounting surface is 2-3/4". Stands 15-16" above sink. Innovative "hose box" must be secured to back of cabinet/wall with owner supplied screws. Keeps hoses secure and out of way in cabinet. Avoids the common problem of sprayer hose getting tangled limiting retraction. Single handle operation makes water volume and temperature easily selectable. A quality product at an affordable price.

Grohe makes sleek modern faucets that are well made and this faucet is no exception.  First, there is NO plastic parts in this faucet. The toggle on the head is solid metal, so you know it will last for years.  It has an ingenious button on the top of the head that stops the spray which is perfect to fill up the coffee maker.  The faucet goes smoothly back into place without the annoying weight on the house.  Highly recommend.

Talis Select S HighArc Kitchen Faucet, 2-Spray Pull-Out with sBox, 1.75 GPM Features and benefits of the new Hansgrohe Talis Select S Higharc Kitchen Faucet: This faucet is definitely a high end product. It beautiful shape and design allow for convenience and simplicity to work cleanly together. I really like the housing and hoses they were so simple to install and make this particular faucet "elegant" looking. No more loose hanging hoses or high arched hose brackets that get in your face when you do dishes. This brand is also advertised as a pioneer in the "touch of a button" concept. It is truly such a pleasure to just tap the faucet and it turns on and when you finish just tap again and its off. No more leaky or dripping faucets. I am REALLY pleased with this Talis Hansgrophe faucet it goes beyond what I wanted.

It seems that the first thing that new buyers look at when they walk into a ThinHaus is the kitchen and the sink & faucet. When they see this magnificent Hansgrohe faucet, the sale is made. The quality of the build and the solid feel of the handle are tested each and every time ... and the test is passed each and every time. If you are re-doing your own kitchen, this is will last forever and make you smile every time you use it.

The Hansgrohe high neck faucet with sprayer ( M5117-H300) is much more complicated than appears in the picture. I have tried to capture all the parts in my collage of pictures but what makes this faucet so different to the installer is the plastic channel that mounts to the wall below the sink and a weighted wheel rolls around the hose and slides within the plastic channel when you pull the faucet out of the neck to spray. The wheel slides up and down within the channel and is heavily weighted to pull the hose/faucet down into the neck of the faucet. You must have room for the 21" x 61/4 inch channel to be fastened onto the wall under the sink to accommodate this channel and wheel. Although a little complicated I believe an experienced do-it-yourselfer could do it if they have experience with plumbing but I don't recommend a novice plumber try this installation-call a Pro to install if you have any doubt.
