Centipede is a warm season turf grass with a medium to light green color. It is a minimal maintenance, slow growing, creeping grass. Centipede has low fertility requirements and is well adapted to sandy, acidic soils. The slow vertical growth of Centipede means less mowing, its thick lateral growth crowds out most weeds and it requires very little fertilization. The good: the provider communicated well and the sod was delivered as promised. The not so good: ...
The good: the provider communicated well and the sod was delivered as promised.
The not so good: 1- A number of the rolls were 3-4 inches narrower than the others.
2- Many of the rolls had little soil on the edges and the grass was loose and not attached. This made for very unlevel seams and the grass on the seams died quickly.
3- Some of the rolls especially toward the bottom of the pallet had ragged not straight edges which made it impossible to seam correctly. These areas had less soil thickness than the other parts of the roll.
The grass was rooted in red clay soil which was surprising because Centipede thrives in a more sandy soil. The red clay stained everything it touched and our clothes were definitely throw away by the end of the job. Overall the sod was not the best I have seen and resulted in a not as expected finished project.

Harmony's sod
I bought Harmony's sod from Home Depot (cover 8sft), at the time pick up they were yellow, didn't want to wait just took them , they are not getting better after few weeks it did not get stronger, called Harmony within few hours everything solved, pick new sod from Home Depot, EXCELLENT customer service, very happy with their sod after replacement, beautiful
The price is very reasonable, great deal if buy a lot
Note: their sod is good, the sods I took home are out side under hot weather too long I should not pick it from first place though.

I ordered one pallet of sod on two different occasions,...
I ordered one pallet of sod on two different occasions, the first pallet was excellent very fresh, thick green grass with the perfect amount of soil. The second was average, some grass was turning in color to a gray and some pieces had little to no soil. The is now growing and looks pretty good. I would order again if needed. Delivery was great, sod was placed right where I needed it.
