This set comes ready to use. I love how the brush rests perfectly into the handle of the dust pan. I've used it on a few surfaces like carpet, rugs and on tile and hardwood flooring. I even tested it to brush sog hair off my comforter on my bed! It works great!! My children (10, 6, 4 and 2) enjoy using it! I keep it where they have access to it so they can get the practice in. My 4 year old can be kinda rough on things, this has held up so far! Only complaint is that I wish the brush part was a little longer, but then they would have to make the dust pan a little bigger too. This will be great for in my camper!

It is very small and lightweight, so it is good for small clean up or in a tent. I am going to keep it in my camping gear. The rubber lip on the dust pan is pretty stiff so sweeping small items from a smooth surface takes a few swipes, but it should hold its shape. The broom and dust pan line up nice so it can hang from a nail or hook. It meets my expectations.

My first impression of this was it seemed to be made of sturdy plastic and a nice semi stiff bristle on the brush. There is a lip on the front of the pan that is both a blessing and a curse. First the bad, when you sweep items into the pan the lip acts like a ramp if you use to much force and shoots the material over the pan.. that being said, if used with care sweeping materials into the pan once they are in that lip acts like a curb and keeps everything in! The brush is nicely made with the bristles angled out slightly allowing it to get into corners quite easily.
Over all I think it will be a handy little set for the home

Good general duty dustpan and brush.
This dustpan measures just under 9 inches wide and has a soft silicone like edge that gives a good seal to the floor to catch the debris. The overall length of the pan is just under 14 inches long, the handle has a comfortable molded grip that is easy to hang onto even if you would be wearing gloves. The brush itself measures 10.75 inches long and 2 inches wide is marked as a soft bristle but feels a bit stiff to cleanly sweep up the finest dust, however the 2 plus inch long bristle easily handles coarser debris like sand, dirt or sawdust. The combo unit nests together nicely and can be hung for convenient storage.

This is a nice dustpan set. Yes it’s plastic but is fairly rigid. Do like the design in that the brush fits into the dustpan handle. And the holes align so that one can hang it on a peg. Also like the frayed bristles on the brush. That allows for better smooth surface sweeping. The dustpan has a beveled rubber front edge which minimizes residual debris being left on the floor when brushing into the pan. Only con is that the angle of the front edge of pan is a little steep requiring a firm and quick “flick” of the brush to get the debris into the pan which if not careful may result in overshooting the pan. But overall a nice ensemble

I knew I was going to like this dustpan brush combo when I saw it. It has the flexible rubber strip on leading edge that keeps dirt from being swept underneath pan instead of into pan. It is narrower so nice for tight areas in my work shop. The bristles are longer and help with getting the dirt up into pan.
The combo seems to be well made and durable and easy enough to clean.
One downside is the leading edge has a steep angle, but not a deal breaker.

When my old dustpan unexpectedly broke, I went searching for a new one and found this Harper dustpan and brush set. It's definitely met my expectations with regard to quality and design. I like the both the dustpan and brush have well-designed handles. The ergonomic handle on the dustpan makes doing dust-up chores comfortable; the ribbed handle on the brush makes it easy to grip and hold on to - no slipping out of my hand.
This set gets the job done and appears to be of long-lasting quality. The plastic is a heavier weight - definitely not flimsy. This was an important consideration for me, as my dustpan gets a lot of use.

I know, it's a dust pan and brush...What can a person say in a review about it?...... Actually a lot. The dust pan is made from a very sturdy plastic and the bottom rubber edge is rigid enough to last a long time. The brush has flexible bristles that are also strong. The brush, as with the pan, features a form fitting handle (brush handle also has a rubber foam coating that adds to the comfort) that makes it very comfortable to hold. One of the best dust pan sets I have ever used.

I didn’t know I had an opinion on dustpans until I got this awesome little “scooping action” one! The tapered triangular shape of this dustpan (vs the more rectangular ones I’ve used in the past) makes an amazing difference in cleaning up and disposing of debris. The higher sides in the back help keep the dust contained and easy to transport and toss in the trash can without worrying about spilling. The attached brush fits perfectly in the handle for simple storage, and when you need to clean up, the rubber edge on the bottom of the dust pan means the “little line of dust” that seems to always be left from a clean-up is practically non-existent. I really have never thought twice about my dust-pan selections as they’re a pretty utilitarian purchase, but this one really surprised me with how much easier/quicker cleaning was vs my old one.

This dustpan and brush set are low quality.. I don't like the fact that the edge of the dustpan is quite flexible, perfect if you have ridges in your floors, but not ideal for a totally flat surface. Get the feeling that after a few uses, the edge of the dustpan will be bent out of shape. Do like that it can be hung, (pan and brush as one unit), Probably it's only saving grace,
