What if a poisoned rat is eaten by a dog or other scavenging animal? Will it also be poisoned?
Secondary poisoned is something that can happen BUT, for cats, dogs etc, they would have to eat the dead rats but the hundreds or so for it to happen. The small amount it takes to kill the rats isn't that much and it takes a lot to harm bigger animals.
It is possible for an animal to receive secondary poison from ingesting a rat killed by a rat poison. Protect non target animals from access to a carcass. Thank you. P.F. Harris
Where do they go to die? If they die in the house it may be behind furniture!!
This product will cause thirst. It is always best to eliminate any available water sources such as pet water bowls, drip pans for indoor plants, and any other indoor standing water. What is the size of each bait bar?

i used bait station, i see the mouse runaway,what is the best trap i can buy to solve this problem

It is only intended to protect non target animals or even children from access to the bait by way of the small opening and having the box locked. Mice will go into the bait station to feed, exit, then die later. I recommend the Harris Rat & Mouse Glue Boards and the Harris Rat & Mouse Snap Traps. Thank you. P.F.
