Asked by FirstTimeTrapper December 29, 2020I've trapped racoons and they are aggressive and mean, and they move the cage all over the place, even turn it over, and sometimes tear it up so you have to make repairs after you release the racoon. If you put the trap on a flat board on the fence, both the board and the trap better be securely mounted.
Does this catch groundhogs?
Asked by JOHN October 3, 2020It should I have caught about everything except a groundhog not in this area. As long as they weigh enough to trip the latch they will be caught. I've caught small opossum which should weigh about the same. You can set the latch to determine the sensitivity of the trap.
Will this trap work for a rat? About 4-5 inches in size.
Asked by Marty September 3, 2020Though I caught a few squirrels that were not my target L did see squirrels run in and out so I do not believe it will trap a rat of that size.
Is it loud?
Asked by Brenna July 23, 2020not that loud does make snapping noise. Biggest problem is it didn't release the gate fast enough to get animal caught

Asked by MarkNF1 March 26, 2020That's a toughie because the cats are hungry! We use our trap to catch cats. In fact, when you trap a cat, please call Spay and Stay to get them neutered or spayed. They pay for it all, you just have to take them to the vet and pick them up, or Spay and stay will do that for you. This way we take a stab at the feral explosion of kittens. 847-289-4557
