I purchased this because I had a concrete fire pit which started to deteriorate from being outside. This is light and small enough to bring inside in the winter and actually sets off way home heat. The glass beads are a really nice touch and you can replace with any color which is fun. The metal cover is a nice option to keep everything in good working order. The tiles around the outside are modern and nice quality. It took about 30 minutes to assemble

Awesome looking, solid and easy to assemble. Just looks nice, the blue glass is amazing and so easy to use. We selected propane over wood for the convenience of starting and stopping when we want. We had wood and found we didn't use it unless we knew we would be using it for several hours. With this fire pit we can use it for any length of time we want. We really like the look of the cabinet. The door closes tight with a magnet. The propane tank is stored inside the cabinet behind the door. The controls are also inside the cabinet, hidden behind the door. Does make it difficult to see the settings if you don't bend over, but all propane fire pits are similar. Assembly is best done on a table or workbench. I used the cardboard box for cushion. The entire cabinet is put together upside-down then flipped over. It's fairly light at this point. The instructions are pretty good. Step 1 was the hardest to understand then it got easy. Took me about an hour. The firepit top has 4 ceramic pieces that drop in the top making a solid top. They are held in place with sticky pads. They look really nice. Blue glass is also included which brings the blue of the flame out. Also included is a cover that must be used to keep it dry. The fire pit comes in one heavy box. If you open the box and remove the 2 cardboard boxes, the weight is cut in half. One box is the 4 ceramic tiles, and the other is the blue glass. I put these on after moving the fire pit to the yard. I'm 70 and can easily move the fire pit without the ceramic and glass. Currently using the pit in the yard. Its been raining a lot this year. We will move it onto a large, covered porch once we rearrange, definitely by fall. Looking forward to many nights with family and friends sitting around the fire. Had trouble with the first time lighting the fire pit. Took several tries. But now it usually the first or second try.

The HeatMaxx Propane Gas Fire Pit Table is 30 inches square and has a black finish. It comes with a blue glass rock for the burner. It takes about an hour to assemble and is a fairly easy assembly. It can hold a 20 lb propane tank and it does not come with the fire pit. It is a nice addition to my patio. It does need a cover to protect it from outside elements. I would have given it five stars but I don't think it has enough glass rock for the burner. If you look at the pictures when it is lit the flame goes too high and if you turn it down the flame tried to go out in a light breeze.

When it arrived, the Styrofoam surrounding it was all broken up, which means that the package had been beaten pretty bad. But nothing was bent, dented or broken. Also the bag of glass beads had broken open, and all the glass was loose and had to be picked up. Assembly was not too bad, but not as easy as other reviews seemed to indicate. Once together, it looks great, works great, and puts out a nice, controllable heat. I might buy a second one. Also, it would be nice if the pictures on the Home Depot website had another object, so you could see what size it is.
