Q:Does this stick immediately like contact cement or is there time for re-adjustments to the flooring? If there is a small amount of time for re-adjustments, how long till the flooring will hold its position?

Answer This Question

A:  Henry 647 is a dry set. In 10 minutes after rolling down or troweling of 647 you can begin to lay flooring. You have working time where you can pull up the vinyl once in place. However, the longer you wait the more difficult it becomes. However, there is time for readjustments. But it should be done very shortly thereafter the flooring is placed.

The glue applies evenly, the consistency makes it perfect to apply with a roller.
I have used this product and the "Roberts 7350 Universal Flooring Adhesive", and I prefer this product. Its less thick and applies much easier with a roller.

Very easy product to use. Applied with a paint roller and 25 minutes later I was able to start installing the vinyl tiles. Just follow all instructions and work in a ventilated area.

Good stuff! Apply with a brush or roller or trowel - not too thick and let it set up for an hour. Excellent adhesive supper sticky and sucks everything down with a little pressure.
