Have had this feeder for at least 5+ years and love it. Deer keep knocking it off pole trying to get feed and it is now bent up, so I'm looking to get a new one. Still usable but getting to look "abused" so wife insisting on replacement. A little pricey, but still a great value, sturdy and holds a lot of food. Also, challenging for the squirrel, although they are clever. Never really found anything totally squirrel-proof.

Ordered this on-line and was it shipped directly to my house. When I opened the outer shipping box, which had almost no packing materials, the box in which the item was did NOT say "Heritage Farms". Instead it said "Audobon" and the box also said "Made in India". Things I have seen from India are problematic as the metal is of a light gauge and not durable. The mechanism to keep the lid shut is a joke. In the upper midwest where I live, filling this feeder when it is really cold outside, one has to deal with the mechanism which supposedly keeps the lid secure in the closed position. I will never again buy such an item online, rather I will go to a Wild Bird Store and check it out in person and pay a bit more. One gets what one pays for. Big disappointment.
