Hello, thank you for taking the time to reach out. The valance clips will attach on one end to the headrail and the other end to the back of the valance. As always you may reference the installation instructions for a photo.

The valance is attached by using the valance clips included to attach to the headrail
The valance clip in the middle then you slide the top over the meddle top of the drape rod.
Please download The Home Depot app, and search for the items and filter the store location to find which aisle you can find the valance clips. They are usually in the blind aisle hanging from the shelves located by the cutting machines.
These valance clips are compatible with Home Decorators Collection 2" and 2.5" Fauxwood blinds
