The measurement from sinks to side is 5.7 inches(on the top) / 4.2 inches (underneath the top). measurement between 2 sinks is 44.4 inches (center to center) / 27.3 inches (side to side).           Bath Makeover
          See attached picture of MB Before and MB Update. Bought the countertop, faucets, floor all from Home Depot. A very positive experience. I loosened the older countertop from wall and base cabinet where my plumber just had to disconnect plumbing and pull it off and install the new marble top. This is a dramatic difference - very much needed. The base cabinets were standard builders grade and I added legs to the bottom of cabinet and appliques to the cabinet doors, replaced big mirror w/ 2.

            Beautiful marble BUT there were several inclusions that made the...
            Beautiful marble BUT there were several inclusions that made the top not smooth. They were filled with some odd, soft white material which I think was the compound used to polish the top. The sinks are solid, enameled cast iron. If you don't mind imperfections, go for it. I wouldn't buy again.
