Installation HELP! I tried to install this and when the mounting plate is flush with the wall, the mounting screws are so long that the cylinder nuts only cover a portion of them and the fixture cannot hang flush against the wall. It looks like it is dangling. Are there alternative mounting screws? Has anyone else had this?

Assuming there's room in your junction box, you should be able to "back out" the mounting screws so they protrude less out the front - only enough to engage the cylinder nuts. This requires a bit of trial and error, and it's easiest to do before the mounting plate is attached to the junction box. Else you can't reach the mounting screws to adjust them. The screws come with a nut that locks them into place when you get the right depth.

Can this lights be faced down?

Yes, the fixture can be mounted with the shades/lights facing either up or down. It's a personal and aesthetic choice, but "up" is better for tall ceilings, "down" for regular/8' ceilings.

Another Home Decorators Collection Boswell Quarter 4 bathroom light. Have to say is maybe the easiest light to install of 100's I have installed lately took all of about 15 minutes to install. Took more time to unpack than it did to install as is really packed well so was no damage in shipment even after bouncing around in the UPS truck all day on the rough mountain roads here. You can install in glass up or down as glass in held well in place and is listed for 100 watt incandescent bulbs, I use 60 watt equal LED bulbs to save on heat and power use. To install just put screws into the mounting plate to hold up fixture then attach plate to box, hook up wires put up light but on cap nuts install lass and bulbs then just turn on the power all done. Comes in three different finishes, I used galvanized with a chestnut wood mounting bar

I installed it in my daughters bathroom. The vintage brass finish with black painted accents and clear seeded shades (bubbles in glass) Looks really great. At almost 34 inches wide Its will fit over a wide vanity and has a great industrial/distressed look. You can put 4 bulbs up t to 100 watts each, I will be putting in Edison Bulbs Home Depot Internet #303966057Model # 470401 Store SKU #1001862044. (bulbs are not included) As with most light fixtures installation is fairly simple 2 wires and a ground. An easy Upgrade for any DIYer and all hardware you need is included. This lamp is suitable for damp locations as well. Looks great and less than a half an hour for installation,,,

This 4 light vanity light fixture looks great in our master bedroom bathroom. Everything you need for installation is included. Installation was fairly easy. The glass shades are clear but have nice scattered white pattern which looks beautiful (it is hard to see in the photos I have included). With 4 daylight LED bulbs this wood accent (see the photo) fixture provides plenty of light for makeup or shaving. I wish the bulbs were included but I always have spare bulbs on hand as I buy a box of 8 at HD for under $10. With moisture in bathroom rusting of the metal is an unavoidable problem but with wood accent finish it should help minimize rusting. It will look nice in any bathroom.

This is an average four bulb light fixture that mounts to the wall above a vanity. The Frame work is all metal with a vintage brass (dark color - not bright brass) and also a black painted metal bar that does not resemble what the box says that it is a painted distressed black wood accent. The glass cylinders are clear glass with embedded bubbles inside the glass. The metal nut to hold the glass cylinders is easily bent but can be put in the round again. While putting the glass cylinders in you have to center it with one hand while tightening the metal nut to hold the cylinder centered & in place. Then the standard base bulbs can be added in (Bulbs are not included).

First off, I was a little hesitant being that they were not available in any store near us. I don't like to buy products without seeing them in person. I bought two of the 3 bulb and one 4 bulb fixtures for our master bathroom in the galvanized finish. I can now say that this is a really attractive fixture. Good quality and the installation is straight forward. The "wood" accent is nice although it is more of a redwood color than the antique oak shown on the webpage picture. Paired the fixtures with the ecosmart led edison bulb and it compliments well. Wish they had a 60 watt though as the 40 watt is not as bright as I had hoped. Overall, very satisfied.

It was time for a new vanity light in the guest bath - my wife looked at several styles and decided on this brass 4 light with distressed wood accents. One of the features I liked was that you can install the unit with the fixtures in the up or down position to focus your illumination. Although they recommend a ST64 bulb shape, with standard base, we found several styles of bulbs that fit perfectly with this unit. The unit is designed for a 30" or larger vanity - our vanity is 36" and this provides perfect illumination for our needs. The brass has some type of clear coating, so I don't think we will have to polish it anytime soon!

The dimensions of the fixture itself are approximately 33 inches wide, by 9-1/2 inches tall, and about 6 inches deep. The glass shades are 4-1/2 inches in diameter and stand about 6-1/2 inches tall. This fixture is well made, constructed of glass and metal. Easy to install using the provided instructions.

This four light fixture is pretty large so pay attention to the dimensions before purchasing (it's almost 3 feet wide). It has a unique combination of finishes, vintage brass (faux painted, not real brass), a bronze colored bar and seeded glass. It seems to be made well from quality materials. The painted vintage brass finish looks good from a distance but up close not so much. I would recommend seeing the real thing before purchasing.
