Q:Hi, Trying to attach the heads to the central hexagonal base and instruction states only one screw in the middle for each head to stay in place. Does not seems secure.
Don't we need to fasten the other 2 screws going inside the base to be fasten inside?

Cheap and easy backyard update

So good, i bought four!
I was initially sceptical because of the price. It is not made of iron, but aluminum with some steel pieces. It is light enough for one person to mount onto a concrete base/ post. I had a contractor dig the holes and set the concrete posts. Make sure the bolts are far enough out of the contcrete to attach the light pole base. A fit of the base before the concrete sets is recommended. It is not in the directions! I used the box it came in to rest the fully wired and assembled light (without the base). I then wired the light to the house electricity line in the base. Stand it up and attach the bolts, securing the light to the base and you are done. Looks great and I think it will hold up well with the weather.

What I wanted
I’ve been planning to purchase and install this post for several months. It wasnt until I noticed the inventory constraints that pushed me to go ahead and purchase now. This is a very reasonably priced lamp post when you’re comparing similar models with other competitors. Unboxing and putting the lamp post together wasnt complicated and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. When feeding the extension wire from the head lamp to the base, I used fishing wire to easily pull the wire. One modification I would suggest is to wrap the entension wire with electrical tape from the head and down to the base—just to keep the wire together. I had an issue with the “lose wire” inside of the post getting caught on the threads when I needed to tighten one of the sections. But aside from that, the instructions are very straight forward. As pictured, I decided to pour a concrete base.

I searched dozens of lamp posts online for one with solid ratings at an affordable price and this had both. Good finish and sturdy. The finial caps were very tight so needed vice grips with cloth to remove without scratching the surface. Purchased and installed three of these and they work great. Drilled holes about two feet from the base for photo cells and connected them with extra wire.

Very well made and easy to put together. I wish it had a couple of additional items, like a an additional set of nuts for the lamp heads and an outlet on the base, but for the unit it is it is excellent. Packaging is outstanding with no loose parts and it shipped very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Intended for concrete. I put it on a dead oak tree stump with three 3/8 in dia. 6 inch long stainless lag screws. Used some large stainless fender washers on two screws as shims, the tree stump is on a slope, not perfectly flat. Seems pretty stable. I used 12 V AC power and appropriate LED bulbs. Did this slowly (and with a total weight of 30 lb thought Id need help when finally putting up) and had the holes drilled ahead, I could do it all myself (At 5'6" 150 lbs, my physical abilities are limited and I am 71 years),

Elegant, classic style and amazing price. We bought 5 lampposts and installed 100 watts equivalent daylight bulbs. Look great and Illuminate very bright at night which is what we wanted. Neighbors in our cul-de-sac have given the lampposts pretty nice compliments.
