Great product!
We were looking for an outdoor fan that would fit in out gazebo. Saw many way more expensive, am very satisfied with this appliance. I added a 12' extension to drop it closer, and it's necessary to use the switch which is mounted on the motor itself.

Have to stand underneath it to feel it.
I have a small 14 x 6 lanai and you have to stand or sit right underneath it to feel it...even when it is on high. I have it mounted in the middle and it you can't feel it if you are sitting off to the sides.

We are sorry to hear the fan’s airflow coverage did not meet your expectations. The fan’s small 20 inch blade span focuses air into a smaller area but with a much greater wind speed when compared to a regular ceiling fan. For greater airflow coverage, a small room 40-48 inch ceiling fan may suit your space better. Home Depot offers a generous 90-day return policy if you are unhappy with the product.

Outside, plug in ceiling fan
Nice little fan, quiet and easy to install. No wobble or imbalance. We just leave the setting to medium for now, but have a storage box in the gazebo if we need to reach the knob to change setting. Ran an extention cord and just unplug when not in use.
Seems that the most air flow is just below the fan, especially if standing, not sitting. Does move the air, which is the intention. Don't want to be blown away.

Nice fan, but…..
So - nice fan! It fits beautifully in the gazebo. BUT, you have to use a ladder or step on the table to change the settings. I had read this in other reviews and thought it wouldn’t be an issue until my first day. I had hung it at M and needed it at H. Immediately thinking, well here we are.

Hooks right up on gazebo. Easy installation
The fan was very simple to install. We have it up on our 13x11 gazebo that we purchased from the Home Depot last year. From reading previous reviews, we purchased a remote controlled switched extension cord to hook up to the fan. It would have been a bit of a hassle to turn fan on and off without the switch.
Overall I would totally recommend this fan. It looks great, it's well made and it does make a difference on a hot day.

Great for small space
Purchased this to go in a gazebo on our deck. During the summer in the midwest, having moving air can be the difference between complete discomfort and bearable. Being an all weather fan i can leave it up all year round. It hooks up easily and has three speeds. The downside of this fan is the on/off speed control is on the fan itself. So the option is to have a ladder at the ready if you want to change speeds or turn it off or set it to one speed and just unplug it when not in use. Works well in a 10x10 enclosed gazebo but may be to small in a larger area.

I ordered two fans they're perfect for underneath the hard canopy that we bought they hide up on ...
I ordered two fans they're perfect for underneath the hard canopy that we bought they hide up on top the black Blends in with the top of the opening. Gives off enough airflow underneath the canopy will see how it is when it's hotter out, it does help.
