Very sturdy, solid table. Nice vintage look. Base is made of cast iron whilst the top is solid reclaimed wood.
It ships in two separate boxes. The base is quite heavy. Ensure you assemble it over a rug or pad as dropping either the base or tabletop could easily damage wood floors.
The bolt that you attach the tabletop onto is only about 3/4 of an inch, so I felt it could have been a bit longer just for stability.
Height is adjustable via the crank type knob on the bottom.
I did unfortunately need to shim it flat, as in the fully-tightened position it wasn't quite flat. I wedged a shim under the tabletop next to the bolt. The piece if handmade so it has some expected flaws.

This end table is extremely sturdy and heavy for a piece of its size. The hardware has a classic industrial or rustic look which can add to most modern decor styles. The wood table top has a worn and used look. The functional handle allows easy adjustment of table height and moves smoothly with little noise. The feet and table top are level without warping. This end table is has a very rustic, antique look. The base is heavy cast iron and the table top is wood with an iron ring around it; a very heavy table for it's size. It arrived in 2 cartons and assembly was easy; you just screw on the crank handle and the table top. Because the top is attached with just one center bolt it does not sit level on the base but the tilt adds to the rustic look. The top is aged looking wood with smears of what appears to be black, red and green paints. I suppose this is meant to add to the rustic look, but the finish is not great. Because the top is adjustable, you can put this table next to any size chair or sofa. We use it next to a reading club chair.

We loved the industrial funky look of this table. When it arrived, there was very little assembly required. However, the crank handle's attachment bolt was not centered through the handle. But wait. How I evaluate a company is based upon how good or bad their customer service is. One telephone call to customer service, and a new handle was on its way. The new handle arrived quickly, and it looks and works great. Because of the great customer service, a 5 star rating was earned and not given. Thanks, Damon

After I got it all together and cardboard all cut up, I noticed the top is uneven. I’ve had to shim two of the three legs with cork coasters, it’s not pretty. Had I not destroyed the box, I would have exchaned it, that’s how off it is. But on the bright side I love the table, only wish.
