A: Dear Irrated. These are definitely Drill Brackets. Therefore this will not be suitable for your need.
A: it should, I have even thinner diameters rod on and it fine
A: Hi David, These brackets were designed to handle 1” diameter rods. 0.15” is not that much larger so they probably would fit. But we would not be able to be responsible for any damage that might occur for using any rods larger than the recommended 1”. If you use a larger size just be sure to secure them well.
A: Hi Cazely, is it possible you are not installing correctly or exceeding recommended weight limits? First of all, we always suggest using the middle brackets provided to give support to the rod set. Especially, with using the heavier rod sets these center-support brackets are quite needed. However that being said; generally, when using 2 end brackets we recommend max. 20 lbs. (@ 10 kg.) and with 3 brackets max 33 lbs. (@15kg) for total weight limits. Note this is when properly installed in the correct positions, under normal conditions, and with properly secured anchors and screws.
A: Hi Deborah, not sure I fully understand the question but sounds like you are planning to use 4 double curtain rod brackets? (2 brackets on each end 3 in. and 6 in. from each end?) And this is assuming you will not use any middle support bracket? If this is correct, you can buy two (2-packs) of these 1” Double Curtain Rod Brackets to get a total of 4 brackets. The rod diameter sizes that fit this Double Rod Bracket is 1” for the inside rod and 3/4” for the outside rod. Please write back if this does not fully answer your question.
