And that's a good thing. 60" fan running 145rpm moving 6000+ cfm is awesome. Fan is quiet as can be; only sound is blades cutting through the air- no motor sound. The instructions were clear and easy and there were no surprises. The box has a standard short 4" downrod and THD had the right size and color 18" in stock so it was easy to install with accessory 18" downrod. The light is bright and very effective. Remove is big and simple to use.

Took about an hour and a half to put up. Will be buying three more for the bedrooms to replace the old looking ceiling fans that are up now. Clean looking. I think we don’t need the light in the living room.Should of bought the fan without the light. Is very bright. In all quiet and nice.

This fan replaced another one of the same diameter having five blades, but that one didn't move as much air as this one (possibly because it was higher on a shorter down rod.). This one looks good, is very quiet and came perfectly balanced, and seems to move a lot of air for its size, at least with the 24" down rod. Make sure you order a down rod if you need one since the one that comes with it very short. I like the LED light, it has a simple dimming feature, you hold the button on the remote while it dims and brightens, you let go when it's the brightness you want. Two weeks after using it every day, I am very happy with it and wish I'd bought it years ago.

This was a beautiful fan. It moves a lot of air so we look forward to trying it during the summer. It was overall easy to install.

Very nice fan well balanced and quite. If you purchase a longer down rod keep in mind that it will NOT adapt to the fan without a 3/4” to 1/2” reducing bushing and you will need a 1/2” x 2” nipple, the 3/4” bushing will thread into the motor housing and the nipple into the down rod this does not come with the kit and there are no instructions explaining this.

The LED light is 14.5 watts which is equivalent to 100 watt incandescent bulb, it is bright. Also included is a hand held remote that adjusts the three speed motor and acts as a dimmer. The installation was a little time consuming because of the install of the remote unit. The fan is beautiful and we love it. i

The 60" Tidal Breeze LED indoor distressed KOA ceiling fan with light kit & remote. Out of the box this is everything you need in a big fan,to not only cool your room but gives you plenty of light. This fan works in rooms 20'x20' or bigger. In the box it comes with a 4.5" down rod,sense I have high vaulted ceilings I used a 18" down rod not included....here is the part number if you want the matching color DR518-ODK. I wired mine up so I could use either the switches on the wall or the remote control. What I love about the remote is you can control the three speeds or turn the light off or on,and the LED light is dimmable. The fan is very quite and even with the 18" down rod no noise or wobble. On high speed you will hear the wind circulating from the fan blades,this is normal. We love the distressed oak look it goes well with are decor.....I think your going to love it. ScottE

Moves a lot of air at slow speed, great quality, doesn't wobble, remote control, and variable light intensity. This sixty inch fan is a nice upgrade in my rather large great room. I like the glossy white finish which matches the trim in my house. Installation is straightforward (if you have ever installed a fan). I followed the recommendation of another reviewer and installed the blades last (so I didn't have to deal with them throughout the installation). One recommendation would be to route the wires out of the ceiling such that they can be pushed back up into the electrical box. There isn't a lot of room for a bunch of wires and the receiver in the housing, so get the bigger, bulky house wiring pushed up into the box out of the way. I included pics which outline the steps I followed during installation.

A fan with stylish modern good looks that moves the air, but can also be tricky to install in some cases. The new 3 blade fans just look great, and this one is no different. The blades are made of a plastic material, but don't let that concern you. They are molded in such a way as to give a very neat and modern look. Air movement is good, and the integrated LED light throws off plenty of lumens. Mine also did not wobble at all. At low speed, it was noiseless. There is some hum at medium and high speed. I always consider it critical that there is no noise at low speed so it can be used in a bedroom. So far, so good. But I did have some issues. Issue 1 is that the only way to reverse it is to get on a ladder, move up the cowling (you don't need a tool, thankfully) and flip a switch. No reverse on the remote! Issue 2 was a surprising issue in installation. The actual mechanical installation was easy. The blades went on well and fast. The ceiling bracket installs easily on standard boxes, and then you just place the ball on top and lock. Easy, the fan is up! Wiring is straightforward. But then it went downhill for me. With my shallow box, I could not find an easy way to fit the remote receiver under the top cowling easily. With short supply wires getting in the way, I just couldn't find the fit. I'm guessing there is another way (horizontal?) but if there is, the instructions should be better to explain it. The instructions give very little info on how to fit the receiver. I ended up having to leave the cowling screws very loose, and with a slight tilt. It is mechanically sound, but if you look closely, it is a bit quirky since I had to do that. Finally, the remote uses an A23 battery which is a bit unusual. Those usually go in garage door openers. One would have hoped the remote could use more standard batteries. A23 are not hard to find, but you typically don't have them in reserve at home. Made in China
