A:  I get a good solid 16 hours -sometimes more when I have the mist set to a lower setting. As per the product pages, it says up to 17.5 hours.( I highly recommend it. Been using it every day in NY since it's been so dry and it really makes a difference. (I measure the humidity in the room with a hygrometer and know it's working great.) A:  Depends on how high you have it turned up. Mine is about 3/4 and I fill it about every 24-36 hours.

A:  it depends on how high you choose the run the unit. At high speed it will run out much faster. I check it daily at 50% and it has not run out yet.

A:  That would depend on the size of the room. If it's a small room and the humidifier is on high, then maybe.

A:  If you do, the humidity that you are trying to create will leave the room. Best to keep the door closed

A:  I have 2 of these - 1 for bedroom, 1 for family room. Doors should be closed if you have them in the rooms you’re using them in. When used in the bedroom, I keep the door closed because I want to humidify the room. It’s cool mist, and you can adjust the humidity by controlling how much or how little mist comes out. I use a hygrometer to measure how much the humidity has increased after a few hours. I have not had any issues with condensation at all. Example: bedroom was 28% humidity last night. You need 40-50%. I turn the dial a quarter of the way to achieve what I need. It was 43% this morning. In the family room, there are no doors. Humidity was 30% this am and now is 47% and comfortable. I rarely have to use it in the highest setting, either. I keep it next to the sofa on an end table with the dial turned halfway. It’s also very easy to clean. The best humidifier out there.

A:  Leaving the door open shouldn't be a problem.

A:  the light is very dim, not bright at all

A:  The light is low not bright. It's a small light inside the window which indicates the water level. It turns red when water is needed.LDL

A:  When it has water in it, there is a very small dot of green light visible in the water view window. I do not have it in my bedroom, but if I did I don’t think it would bother me. It DOES have a low hum that might. When the humidifier has run out of water, the water view window glows red, but it is not harsh in my opinion. One could put tape over the water view section.

A:  Not bright at all. It’s a very soft, muted green light - as if it’s filtered. It will not light up a room like a digital alarm click will,

A:  Ours does have a light that can be seen if you are right on top of the humidifier. From across the room it cannot be seen.
