I got this coupler set because I was having trouble with the female connector on my air compresso...
I got this coupler set because I was having trouble with the female connector on my air compressor. My issue was I couldn't plug an air hose in unless I relieved the air pressure on the tank first. I prefer the female connector that you can just push the air hose in without relieving the pressure and without having to pull a collar back. This one works way better than the one on my compressor, You do still have to pull the collar back, but at least I don't have to let all the pressure off. I also found out my compressor has a 3/8 female NPT thread, so I had to buy a 3/8" nipple to use the female connector
