Good quality mud pan. I really like the laser welded design and it’s definitely noticeable when cleaning it. (Easier to clean out dryer mud in corners). Mud pan is definitely good quality and definitely not rust anywhere after I cleaned it. The edges are straight and sharp and clean my trowels great just as it should. I definitely prefer the 14 inch long pan so I can use even the longest trowel to work. Mixing in the pan is good and I can reach all the mud even in the bottom corners. It can definitely fit quite a bit of mud but it can get heavy. Cleans off good and feels like it will last a very long time.

I chose this 14 inch laser welded stainless steel mud pan for my husband, whose has been dry walling for over 30 years, and he is very pleased with this pan. He said it is very well made and fits his hand nicely. The welded sides give it lots of durability and the depth is perfect, being stainless steel it won't rust and it is strong enough it won't bough. He definitely will recommend this product.

This 14 inch laser welded stainless steel mud pan is simply beautifully constructed. All of the joints are smooth welded together for a virtually seamless connection. The edge is nice and sharp for scraping the knife along. Clean up is so much easier. For one, the stainless finish is perfectly smooth so no mud gets left behind. Also, being one material and not plastic with a metal edge is a huge upgrade.

Well constructed, suitable for home DIY use all the way to a professional. Although, I'm the former, I still like the advantages of a mud pan over a bucket/pail, which are almost impossible to use for drywall mudding. I go back and forth between using a hawk and mudpan. The mudpan is handy to repeatedly work the mud prior to using it and for scraping off the blade keeping it clean and ready for the next pass. This pan is long enough to take the really long finishing knives. Another nice touch is being able to put the pan under the seam or joint and catch excess mud before it falls to the floor. The welded seams ensure water and mud won't seep out of the pan. The pan itself is strong yet light and the taper is such that the bottom width is just right to hold in one hand. Great quality for the home DIY(r).
