The Husky Pro Crew Contractor compressor is a great solution for the Trim Crew all the way up to a 3 man Framing Crew. The 4 Gal. 225 PSI tank holds over 3x as much usable air as a 4 Gal. 125 PSI tank, which means you can fire 3x as many nails at any 1 time. The Husky Pro Crew is up to 25% lighter and up to 25% quieter than leading brands of similar capacity. The rugged roll cage protects vital components and features a cord wrap while the tank features a 1/4 turn ball drain valve, for quick and thorough tank draining. Other applications include limited spray gun and air tool use, powering plasma cutters, blowing out sprinkler systems and more. Be sure to check your specific tools for scfm and tank size requirement. The Husky Pro Crew comes fully ready to use. Features a 3 year limited warranty.

Will this compressor really handle 3 rapid heavy duty framming Nail guns at the same time on a actual jobsite??

This thing can move some air. It should handle 3 easy.. that said, you will probably only get a year out of the regulator..... If you get this make sure you drain the air after each use

how loud is this really?

This compressor puts out a lot of water in the line. It's brand new, used twice, & drained after each use. Fixable?

YES! What I do is to create an "Accumulator" which is basically an extra auxiliary air-tank using a "Portable !0-gal" air storage tank. This is placed between the compressor and all of your equipment. This is what this design will do as it is something that came to me when dealing with undersized compressors or intermittent high cap-use on projects essentially making an "Air Capacitor" and will accomplish exactly what an Electrical Capacitor does with electricity, stores and levels out peak highs and lows in a system. With a compressed air system it will accomplish the following: 1st Add more cubic capacity to the storage tank on compressor. 2nd Provide ample air volume with intermittent high volume air requirements. 3rd Allow capture of High Humidity Air allowing it to reasonably condense in the tank and fall to the bottom allowing more dry air to "Pass-Through" the bottle to your "Air Guns" or "Painting Guns" if you can keep this tank Cold say with ice or water it becomes an "Air Dryer" forcing hot moist air to condense inside and when ready to empty just open Tank Purge on bottom occasionally to blow out recovered water. Not a perfect system but works pretty good once you get it set-up and start making it a part of your "Less than Usual" work scenarios....

Does this tank work with HVLP spray guns and gravity fed spray guns

check you cfm requirements, often there is a rating plate on the gun or maybe look at your paperwork or online with the model number. Then compare with compressor stats. max output is 150 i belive. but a hvlp should have no problem running on this compressor.

I need 175psi compressor to pump up my vehicle's struts (high pressure,no volume). This compressor is regulated 150psi?

The pump cuts out at 225 PSI and comes back on around 175 PSI. Check the manual - you can download it on the Home Depot site.

Has anyone attempted to run an angle die grinder on this compressor? Don’t care if compressor has to run continuously.

Yes, I run an angled die grinder all the time. It doesn't take anymore air to run a die grinder than it does most other air tools.

Will this compressor run an air hammer to remove tile and thinset from a floor?

Owned for about a month. Was able to try it out at-10 below and it didn't have any lag. Installed a ceiling and has cycled maybe 30 time's, quick recovery time, but the smell of electrical burning is making me wonder if I should take it back. Only thing hooked to a 20 amp breaker 20 feet from the panel and had 120 volts.

Not so great
Have owned this for around 4 years. regulator started leaking right away. Opened up to find it was bone dry and spring and moving parts were frozen. No big deal. lubed it up and ran it. Now we're a few years down the line and the pressure switch has gone out on me. Again I will open the unit up and replace switch and hose. Already replaced both outlet quick connectsI am extreamly unimpressed with the compressor. And am looking forward to replacing it with somthing better built. I would recommend putting your money into somthing else unless you like fixing a poorly made compressor to keep it chugging along.

Great compressor
Excellent compressor for a small garage shop. If you need a larger volume tank, you can always add auxiliary tank. So far, no air leak, keeps 200 PSI for already a week. Very quiet for such compressor, my phone shows about 70 dB at about 3 feet distance from the compressor. Completely satisfied and highly recommend this compressor to everybody who needs a compact but powerful compressor.
