The only issues would be length and the type of mount- whether pin style ro clamp. Otherwise I would expect them to work fine.

If you mean small cuts like trimming to fit around existing moulding then yes. If you mean cutting panels to length I strongly recommend a different saw.

If you mean cutting curves, etc. for fine fitting then the answer is probably. If you mean general cutting this saw would be a dismal choice.

I'm sorry I don't know the answer about splintering. The 1/8" thickness and cutting curves are what this type of saw is designed for.

Good tool once I learned how to use it to cope crown molding. Handle could be made of a softer material, but no qualms about this tool. I have not completed the crown molding installation, but this is a lot better than trying to miter a d bevel for a perfect fit.

Very effective at cutting out my son’s Pinewood Derby car. My only complaint would be the handle turning while cutting. The blade is designed to turn so that you can mak curvy cuts but the handle never really stabilized. The price was awesome of course and the quality was very good. Overall, it’s a great investment!

Used it to cut my son's pinewood derby car. Even my 9 year was able to use it. Attached is a picture of the finished product. It was easy to cut in different angles and to cut rounded edges. It got the job done. Highly recommended!
