A nice, 6" taping knife. Straight angle on the blade with just enough flex to make application smooth. Comfortable rubberized grip and a solid heel for tapping in that rouge nail or screw head. The chrome finish does look nice at first but it will wear and if you don't dry after cleaning expect some rust - but if you take care you should get plenty of life out of this tool.

I am always pleased with the comfort and dependability of Husky tools. This Husky six inch flexible tape knife meets expectations as always. It works very well leaving a smooth finish and has a comfortable grip handle that fits well in the hand. Easy to clean and dry and store and hang. The flexible blade is very user friendly when applying tape and mud.

Husky makes a lot of nice tools and this one seems to be well made. This joint knife is a good size and it is flexible which is good. The handle being soft, and round has a good feel to it, and is something you could use for a long day without it hurting your hand. It also has a lifetime warranty “…with no questions, no receipt required” which is good. It is made in China, instead of the US which is unfortunate.

I would recommend Husky Flexible Tape Knife. This Flexible Tape Knife comes in a 6 inch length, they have different sizes so make sure you get the size you need for your job. Strong yet a bet flexible and easy to use. The grip is comfortable and does not slip out of your hand when you are using it. I use this one from everything to placing putty on a job to helping me with painting projects. Well built and it will with stand lots of projects.

The Husky flexible tape knife seems like it will be a great tool to use for quite some time. It sits comfortably in hand and doesn’t seem to want to twist. While I wasn’t using it to tape, I did use it to patch and having the wide 6 inch flexible blade really helped in a couple areas. It is a little stiff for what I was using it for, but as far as taping goes I’m guessing it would be perfect

The blade has a good amount of flex. It is not overly thin but has a sharp edge on it. I found it great for applying spackle and removing old wall paper after it has been moistened. This knife is really versatile; you can do a lot of minor repair jobs with this handy joint knife. The rubberized handle is very comfortable to the touch. The metal cap on the top of the handle is ideal for closing paint cans when you don't have a hammer.

These Husky knives are great for new drywall finishing, but they are also great for patching large damaged places on drywall as well. The flexible blade makes it easy to put the spackle on smoothly and evenly without a lot of work. The soft grip handle is also very comfortable in your hand which really helps when doing larger drywall jobs. One of these would also be great for scraping paint on larger areas, but I wouldn’t use it for that and still expect the same performance for drywall mud application afterwards. It does have a hollow ground blade that you will probably mess up when scraping on hard surfaces. I can’t say enough about the flexibility of the blade, as it just makes applications so much easier.

I received my Husky 6-inch flexible tape knife today; this knife has a hollow ground blade and a hammer end. The blade is full length touching the hammer end, making this a durable tape knife that will also come in handy for scrapping. Like all Husky brand hand tools, this taping knife comes with a lifetime warranty. Overall, this is a well-balanced heavy-duty taping knife that will work for many different projects.

The Husky 6in. flexible tape knife, model # DSX6F-HUS is a nice taping knife. I have been doing drywall for many years using many pro brands and this knife is as good as any. Very comfortable, soft grip handle and mirror-polished blade. Nice to have the handle hammer end and carbon steel flexible blade. This 6in.knife has a lifetime warranty and does not require a sales receipt to return. Very good quality tape knife.

I was about due for a new taping knife for an upcoming drywall project in the basement. I had a similar one for about 5 years but thought a new one would be a good idea for a big project. This one has a heavy metal center in the handle that pros use to help set any nails or screws that are not completely recessed when installed (photo). The merchandising sticker comes of cleanly unlike some stickers that are a pain to remove and can even require enough scraping to damage the finish of the blade. Some people might like a taping knife with a bit more flexibility but the amount of flex but I like this one. It’s a matter of personal choice. The grip has a good feel with a bit of give and the blade cleans easily. If thoroughly cleaned at the end of each use it should last for years.
