Are there parts for this compressor in store? I'm looking for the pressure switch.

when I turn it on the on position there's nothing no sound nothing is there a fuse that can be replaced

Asked by itchiecavaricci7755 March 11, 2021

this unit has no fuse, one thing you can do for this unit is turn the red regulator knob all the way counterclockwise then try and turn it on. If that doesnt work it could be the on/off switch which you can check and see if there marks on the prongs. for any other issues please call 888-899-0146

Will it hold a steady 35 psi . I would like to use it to run a texture gun

Check valve broke and the plug flew off nearly breaking my window!
I DO NOT recommend this product. I used it maybe 5-10 times for small jobs (filling tires, nail guns) and the plug on the check valve broke off and shot across the room like a rocket, nearly breaking my window. Good thing it didn't hit anyone! Spend the extra money and get a good compressor.

Faulty valve assembly
I returned one because the tank tipped over and the valve assembly broke off while I was painting. The same thing occurred with the second one that replaced the first. I have attempted, and failed, to drill out the remaining section of the male stem and replace the valve.

It was pretty much ready to go right out of the box, (minus the wheels and handle), and works very well. I like the adjustible valves too. Very convenient snd well made.

Handle with care
A set of drill bits fell about 3 feet from a shelf and hit the gages/regulator assembly on my 2 month old compressor. Oddly, the nipple connecting the gauges/regulator assembly to the tank broke. I would recommend beefing up that nipple (from powder formed??) to steel.

Check valve broke after 10-20 uses
Air compressor worked fine until the check valve blew after turning it on (dangerously flinging brass across my garage). Definitely made with sub-par materials. I understand that things can break, but there is no reason this component should have busted like it did (ANSI/ASME B31.3 brass pipe end pressure rating is 1900 - 6750 psi).

I do not use my compressor a lot, so it was not overworked. My first one stopped working, and store replaced it without issue. Then the second one had a different issues, where you connect the air line to no longer worked, so I replaced the connection, and the entire the Air Compressor Pressure Switch Control broke off as I was replacing it, I did not use a lot of torque. Making the unit totally non functioning and worthless, I'm currently in the market for a new one, but not Huskey !!!. .

Husky 8G 150 PSI Hotdog Air Compressor works great. Easy to assemble, just screw in handle and air filter; However, the wheels required some finesse in tight spaces. I had to prop axle on a piece of 2x4, get down on hands and knees with wrench to install wheels. Nice to be able to pick one end up and roll it around. Very loud but that is OK, I have it in a storage room and run a 50' hose out through the garage. It let's me know it is running. I like the pull pin pressure release feature as well as the 180 degree twist release underneath. Overall, very good design. I used to have a smaller double decker compressor which was also on wheels and "like new" (but it had a collapsing handle which was awkward) and liked that one "almost" as much as this one, but I gave it to a good friend who helps me with stuff around the house. I would not hesitate to purchase this compressor again. Very satisfied. Just be aware that it does NOT come with a hose or attachments. I also purchased the DEWALT 50 ft. x 1/4 in. Air Hose and Husky 13-Piece Brass Air-Compressor Accessory Kit separately.
