      Don’t buy it
Honestly this is just a terrible bag I’ve had two and returned both of them cause they break the tool clip on the side doesn’t work fell out on both of them and then on my 2nd bag the little plastic piece that keeps the strap tight broke. really disappointing guess I’ll go buy the Milwaukee bag

        Best for budget
This backpack is made with resistant materials, seems durable to me. It's a little too heavy, but certainly it's made for heavy duty use. Went looking for other brand backpack and passed by this on the shelf. Definitely worthy against the one I was looking for... And a few bucks were saved too

Rugged and lots of places for tools
The backpage by itself has some heft to it. I would not say it’s heavy for, just made well and that takes material to make it hold up to lugging around tools. Depending on what tools you put in it, it can get heavy pretty easily. With the number of pockets it has it can carry a good amount of tools (mainly set up for drivers and pliers). There are also a couple of places for multimeters. There is a removable sleeve with pockets. Handy for when you need to take some tools to a location where the entire pack would not be feasible. The bottom is plastic. This is nice to keep moisture from getting in it and rusting or soaking your tools. Not sure what type of plastic the bottom is made from, but I would be a bit cautious dropping it if it’s really cold. The straps feel fine and have a good range of adjustment. There is no dedicated pocket for a tablet or laptop. If you want to put one in I would suggest a sleeve or case to protect it from the other tools in the bag.

            Heavy, but Bulletproof
1680D Polyester! Sorry, I just wanted to get that out there that way you can be aware of what it's made out of. Super impressed with the ruggedness of this tool backpack. There are soo many pockets internally, and also on the removeable divider inside. Thick hard waterproof base so you don't have to worry about getting the bottom wet. Nice smooth lining inside, big enough for tools and a full size laptop.

            Hefty Husky Schleppy
This backpack-shaped toolbox weighs in at 9 pounds, 5 oz (4.2 kg) when empty, and has a rubberized bottom and handle. There’s a variety of pockets and pouches made with heavy duty material and reinforced strain points, but they seem more tailored to what would fit in the space available as opposed to what one might carry. It’s long on space for handled items like screwdrivers and wrenches, but no specific accommodation for blades and bits. A removeable insert panel holds additional tools, but if used, sacrifices the ability to carry thicker objects, such as a power drill or impact driver. Several padded pockets provide protection for smaller, more delicate tools, such as an electronic multimeter or laser level, but the overall useful capacity was a bit less than I expected. As somebody who has schlepped hundreds of miles through the woods carrying a hiker’s pack, I thought the ergonomics of the backpack were meh. The padded shoulder straps are set too close together at the top causing them to flare out and present only edge of the strap to the chest of the wearer. A sternum strap is provided, but rides too high on the chest, and is adjustable only on one side so the buckle sits far to the left on my average-size chest. Wearing/carrying comfort, as a separate category, would get only two stars. Fortunately, most job-site use wouldn’t involve carrying this pack for more than a few minutes, offsetting that negative. For someone that needs to carry a carefully curated set of tools some distance from their work truck, this backpack could be just the thing!

Super heavy duty backpack with lots of capacity and pockets
This is the most heavy duty and rugged backpack I've ever seen. The most unique part of the backpack is the thick plastic bottom, which feels like it's about 1/8" thick on the bottom, and nearly 1/4" thick on the side walls. This heavy plastic bottom allows the backpack to sit flat on the ground and not tip over. The two zippered compartments on the back of the pack provide a good amount of room for smaller tools or hand tools. The top compartment has 3 pockets, while the bottom compartment has 2 pockets and 3 slots for pens or markers. These zippered compartments only have one zipper. The main compartment on the pack has 2 zippers, and the zippers extend all the way down to the bottom of the pack, allowing the compartment to have a very large opening. The back of the main compartment has 10 pockets in 3 sizes, plus 2 pen slots, and the other size has 1 large zippered mesh pocket, and one solid zippered pocket. The backpack has a "removable tool wall", which is a flat plastic 'tote' covered in fabric pockets, with a carrying handle. It can be removed from the backpack to easily carry a set of tools separately, or to get better access to the rest of the tools in the backpack. The top of the backpack has a carry handle with a plastic handle. And being a backpack, this has two wide adjustable padded shoulder straps with a center chest strap. Everything about this backpack feels ultra heavy duty, rugged, and very high quality. But the downside is that the empty backpack weighs a full 9 pounds on my bathroom scale. It is very heavy. Once this backpack is filled with tools, it could easily weigh 30 pounds or more. But if you're looking for a backpack to carry tools instead of a traditional tool bag, this is a great, high quality pack.

            Very sturdy.
This is a very well made tool backpack. It has a fair amount of weight to it even before the tools are added but it does have padded shoulder straps as well as padding in the back part to make it more comfortable to wear. There are a multitude of various sized pockets to securely hold the tools as well as a removable insert for stuff that you may use frequently. There is molded plastic on the bottom which insures that it stays upright at all times. The only one hassle that I had was that some of the zippers did not open smoothly at first.

            Nice backpack
My first impression was that this backpack felt heavy. It seems very well made with thick material and a nice rubberized bottom for water protection and the ability to stay standing. I loaded it pretty full with tools and is still stays standing, I haven’t had that experience with all tool backpacks. I was surprised that it didn’t feel super heavy after all the tools were in it especially considering the initial weight. It carries the weigh well. There is a lot of room for tools and plenty of pockets for miscellaneous accessories. The removable wall is a nice idea, however, it would be difficult to fill everything im the bag and wall and fit it all in the bag. I wish some of the pockets were a little deeper, long screwdrivers kind of flop around. I know it’s difficult to make something for everything. This a nice improvement over previous models and a nice backpack.

            Seems really solid
Dang, this thing is beefy! Understandable when it's primary objective is to house and carry tools, but the weight of the bag alone caught me off guard. I'm using this to upgrade from an open style tool tote. This should do nicely to keep things a bit more organized and secure when moving around jobs and bouncing around in the back of my rig. It holds all the handyman tools I need, plus has room for a cordless tool or two. I do wish that the main compartment of the bag would open/unzip all the way to lay flat on the floor, but maybe that would weaken the construction somehow?
