Looks like my old tool set
Picked this up as a quick go-to on my service cart in a cheese factory. I first noticed the sides of the b ox had a big gap with strew tools visible. The security zip-tie was still intact. Once I opened it, I spent the next 30 minutes sorting it all out. It is not possible to lift this box by the handle without a mess; you have to keep it flat, which defeats the whole point of a stand-up box. Tools look OK, but the markings are weak on some, which does not help sorting. This is all after a fiasco in ordering, cancelling (2nd day with no call to pick up), purchasing in-store, then getting a text at 10 PM to inform me the old order was cancelled. I find myself at Lowes more and more when it isn't a company purchase.

This is a great mechanics tool set. It comes with three different sized sockets and driver bits. Both the wrenches and ratchet have a great feel in your hand. The weight is perfect and all of the tools have a high quality of feeling. The tools wipe clean easily, which is very important for me. I try to keep all of my tools in the best of shape. The tools will last for ever. Great Set. I would strongly recommend to everyone who uses these types of tools.

This is a great set. This is a set that I keep in the garage to take care of any situation that pops up. I can work on anything that comes into the garage that needs a complete set of wrenches and sockets weather Metric or Standard. The open ended wrenches are great and cover the common sizes, anything else you need to purchase a complete set of open needed wrenches in Metric or SAE. This is a very nice looking functional wrench and sockets. The gears on the drivers will easily handle anything that is thrown at it. It has a set of allen wrenches which make this an all inclusive set. The different sizes of drivers allows you to go from light duty to heavy duty without digging around in the tool box for a different size. The deep sockets cover the main sizes but anything more will require an additional full set. This all in all is a great set for a starter outer! It meets the needs I have at this point in time. I would recommend it heartily.

It comes in a durable Husky hard plastic case which is excellent for storage as well as for carrying in you car or boat to job sites. The case, when filled, is fairly heavy.
It contains the types of tools that we need around the house and more. It's always really nice to have the tool that you need, when you need it rather than having to pick them up one by one.

This is a great set. It includes most of the tools that a home mechanic might need to be able to work on cars or household items. There are only 8-wrenches (4-SAE and 4-Metric) s that makes this somewhat of an incomplete set. That said, the socket sets are extensive. There are ¼”, 3/8” and ½” drive and extensions for each. There are nut drivers and hex wrenches in both SAE and metric. The only other thing I see that’s missing is a spark plug socket. Overall, I think any do it yourselfer or even a pro would be happy with this set. These come with a lifetime warranty.

This tool kit has a LOT of what you might need, in a handy easy to carry tote box for on-the-go action. One very nice feature of the plastic tote box is that is has METAL hinge pins, making me believe these hinges are going to last a lot longer than many of the other tool and tote boxes I've used. The latches are all plastic, though, and might fail with use. All of the wrenches and sockets are well labeled and fit in the spaces mostly snug. Of the tools inside, only the bit driver seems inadequate. I would have hoped that in a set like this, it would have ratchet action. But the bit driver is strictly manual. The whole kit weighs in at almost exactly 20 pounds.

We needed a compact set of tools for my wife's SUV for those emergency/super of the moment needs for tools. This set was a perfect set for our needs. comes with several different sockets, wrenches, hex keys, screw driver body with several different bits. These tools are durable and easy to use. The case has a spot for everything so it stays nicely organized.
Overall this was a perfect set for us to keep within the vehicles.

I have been using Husky Tool sets for many years now and have never been disappointed by their performance, durability and usefulness. My aim has been to keep a Husky socket and ratchet set in each of our vehicles so I'll always have a way to make minor repairs while on the road. This Husky 149-piece mechanic's tool set fills the bill for a set that fits in a fairly compact, well-organized carry case and includes 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ratchets, sockets, open-end wrenches, hex wrenches, screwdriver bits and hex-nut driver bits in both SAE and metric sizes. This set has almost everything that you might need for routine mechanical work. Of course anyone who does mechanical work knows that there will always be that something that you need in some cases like a swivel-extension or a longer extension or other stuff that just pops up out of the blue that isn't included. This set's sockets are high-polish chrome and have the sizes boldly stamped in large numbers on each. The ratchets are also high-polish chrome have quick-disconnect buttons and are of the professional tear-drop style that I prefer. I have only two small gripes. One is that the magnetic screwdriver handle didn't include an adapter (1/4 hex to 1/4 square drive) so I could use the 1/4 in. sockets with the screwdriver. And two, the smaller sockets fall out of their spaces in the carry case when it is closed and turned over for normal carrying. I believe that I can cut a thin plastic sheet to size that will act as a divider and hold the errant sockets in place. However I am very impressed by this Husky 149 Piece Mechanic's Tool Set. It is of the highest quality and it has a lifetime guarantee that is honored by the Home Depot. Overall excellent and highly recommended.
