The overall quality of these is very high. They are solid and very well made. My only issues with them are as follows: 1) to adjust the angle of the support for the handrail you need to adjust the single screw that secures the handrail support to the base, which is against the wall when mounted. So, you need to mount everything, find the adjustment needed, remove it, adjust it, replace it, repeat as needed. 2) the decorative flange that covers the base has about 1/8" of clearance all the way around the base, and well over 1/8" space between the base and the inside of the cover. They are not even close to mating. I gather from the manufacturer this is by design. You will need to put something between the base and the cover to hold the cover to it. They suggested silicone or epoxy, I used earthquake/museum putty in case I need to remove the cover at some point. So, fantastic looking and solid, but a bit of a pain for this home non-pro type guy to install.

I would recommend this product if a few issues are addressed: 1. You need to fix the dimensions shown on the installation drawing - are not consistent with the actual hardware. The dimension from the wall surface to the center of the rail is indicate to be 3 9/32. The actual dimension is about 312/32 (3 3/8). This difference caused me to cut the railing for my design too short - very disappointing. 2. Additionally, the screws to attach the support to the railing should have been provided. 3. The installation is somewhat difficult for railings going up stairways - it is difficult to get the angle adjusted to match the slop of the stairs since the screw that allows the support bracket to rotate relative to the part the mounts to the wall is not accessible when the wall bracket is attached to the wall. The design concept is in general good but the execution is not acceptable.
