Product Overview

  • Reverse osmosis to produce at up to 500 gal. of water per day
  • Dual-flow RO membrane makes full contact with water to soften it
  • 5-stage filtration to remove 99% of 1, 000+ pollutants
The RCS5T removes chlorine, hardness, heavy metals, toxins, and a long list of other water impurities. It is engineered to meet the needs of light commercial and high demand environments, making it the optimal choice for small restaurants and small businesses. It produces reverse osmosis water at up to 500 Gal. per day, a pace that allows it to function as a tankless system without affecting functionality or convenience. The centerpiece of the system is its dual-flow RO membrane that receives water from both sides of the membrane housing and is fueled by a high powered booster pump. Higher water pressure to the dual-flow membrane results in faster RO production and less drain water being rejected. These factors culminate in the RCS5T achieving an exceptional 1:1 pure to drain water ratio. The RCS5T can be used with water pressure sources as low as 25 psi, and has a built in pressure gauge to provide an accurate pressure reading. A power source is required for the booster pump, and a holding tank can be added to the system for high usage situations. (Please Note: The RO membrane capacity is affected by the inlet water pressure and water temperature. 500GPD is the maximum rated production rate, not the recommended daily usage amount. The filter replacement schedule is based on average household water consumption of 3 Gal. per day. Filter life decreases if installed in places that require large volumes or continuous water supply).
  • Designed to supply on demand drinking water filtration for large families, small restaurants and small businesses
  • Produces up to 500 gpd or 0.34 gpm under ideal conditions. The actual output could vary from 70% to 90% of the 500Gpd due to temperature, water chemical properties, and other factors. Clean water output is about 10-15 psi on average
  • Patented dual-flow ro membrane offers consistent output flow with an exceptional 1: 1 drain ratio
  • 5 stages of filtration remove up to 99% of 1, 000+ pollutants including chlorine, fluoride, lead, arsenic, pesticides, pathogens, sulfur, thms, pfoa and pfos
  • Light commercial capable - add a storage tank to increase the flow and provide continuous and stable supply of pure water for light commercial settings

Questions & Answers

How much P.S.I. does this booster pump raise the water pressure to?

How much P.S.I. does this booster pump raise the water pressure to?
Asked by: Pirolamb
The main reason for the booster pump is to keep a high enough pressure to the membrane to make it run more efficiently. If this unit did not have a booster pump you would have to have at least 50psi of continuous water pressure for it to run correctly. I have a shallow well pump that maintains a working pressure between 30 - 50psi. When I watch the pressure on the gauge as it works it will drop from 32psi - 10psi. I get about 12 gallons per hour. 288 gallons per day. If you have a bigger well with more water pressure, let's say 65 -80psi, you should get more finished RO water per hour.

I am looking for a Reverse osmosis system that will filter enough water to feed my refrigerator but don't want to have another faucet. Is there an option to only hook up to the the refrigerator? Thank you
Asked by: JA
This product has insufficient water pressure for a subzero ice maker causing the ice maker to overflow, freezo the ice solid and jam the auger. DO NOT try this RO with a subzero refrigerator.

I see someone else asked about electricity, but the question was not clearly answered, so I will rephrase: Does the filter require electricity to operate? I understand the electric pump part does need power, but if you have water pressure and power goes out, would the filter still operate (perhaps at a reduced flow)?
Asked by: Chris
The water filter may still operate without power depending on how strong the water pressure is.
