          As soon as you see and touch them you know the shower arm and flange are quality pieces. There is no comparison between Kohler and the $10 in stock item. The solid brass arm and flange are substantial with a flawless finish. The shower arm has a slightly shallower downward angle than most others which is important when there isn't much clearance between the ceiling and riser elbow. The flange has a set screw to hold it firmly in place. It's important to remember the flange must be set on the wall and the shower arm inserted through it. The flange will not slide over the curvature of the arm if you forget to place it first.

            it was pricey compared to the shower arm i had originally purchased. but when i unboxed the Kohler, the chrome and weight to the Kohler is why i paid 5 times more. all plumbing need NDT/IPS information on packaging and on website. if more info was on packaging i would say 5 stars.
