Is the heater thermostatically controlled or come with an on/off switch?

The heater is designed to automatically maintain the temperature of the water up to 104°F (40°C). Does this tub have a device or mechanism to ensure water doesn't stay in the jets and get bacteria?

Model 1124-HL-0 does not come with a mechanism that will prevent water from staying in the jets and getting bacteria. We recommend following our care guide on how to flush out the jets about twice a month.
