Tub spout leaks from behind fitting, second time
Installed to the exact specification (5 1/8” off the wall using 1/2” copper) and it was pouring water out inside the faucet housing. Brought back to the store and they replaced and it does the exact same thing. Even installed an extra length of pipe to see if it was too short and it still dumps water towards the wall.

Poorly Designed Product
I usually use Moen and should have stuck with what works best, but I found this kholer cursiva at a great price, had the look I was looking for. I should have read the reviews because not even a day after the install the faucet started trickling every 10-15 minutes. Not a drip but trickle. Plumber warned me that he has seen a lot of problems with kholer because the valve has plastic parts. And yes we have the proper piping, spout piping is just like it says in the instructions. Do not buy!

Leaky Faucet…do not buy this
I had this installed as part of my shower remodel and lo and behold it started leaking within the first month. Just a little at first and now a fill blown trickle. We’re loosing approximately 3+ gallons per day. This was extremely disappointing. Do not waste your time with this product.

Very Disappointed With this Product
I loved the look of this and i was replacing an existing shower system. The shower valve sticks out about an inch too far from the wall to make the seal between the valve handle and the faceplate. Solution from Kohler is to install a piece of tile over the existing tile to make up the difference or tear out the tile and re-tile. Also, the tub spout like the other reviews leaks from the wall. I am nervous that water is flowing back to the wall and then running down the tile.

Hi 20 year kohler customer, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I am ery sorry to hear your shower valve was improperly roughed into the wall. The rough-in requirements can be found on page two of the specification sheet. There, it will show how deep to rough-in the valve in order to accommodate the handle trim. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this with service parts. We recommend reinstalling the valve to the proper specifications to allow for the handle trim to operate as intended, and eliminate the gap. Faucet Leaks
Product is poorly made. The faucet leaks. It does not have a threaded connection. The product leaked following the copper pipe behind wall causing water damage. Do not buy this product.

For the slip fit spout please ensure that the copper pipe extends 5-1/4" from the finished wall. I would also recommend inspecting the gaskets and orings on the clamp assembly for any tears or rips as this can also cause a leak. Leaking Spout
Spout started leaking after a few weeks. Had to redo our entire tub project again. I don’t recommend purchasing.

Simple - Stylish - Elegant Kohler Faucet Set
Out from the packing box, there comes out an attractive Gold Brass with Brush finishing shower faucet set. Shower and Tub are most common unit for most bathroom setup. I've no doubt on its Kohler product workmanship. Evey of the part are well present the quality are guarantied. Level handle in solid built metal in a comfort handle angle for good grip of water flow control. Clear indication of hot and Cold water on the cover plate. Tub spout has it specific design to switch shower or tub bath. A merged pull handle with the same design as the tub body. Result it has a clean smooth outlook without visible pull knob on the tub spout body. Most I like is the shower head which is 6-3/4" in size. If is differ from most standard show head in a cup size. Shower pattern control is built in on the shower rim with a fin cast on the rim edge. A solid brass made valve is included. consider water flow rate is 1.75 GPM. That should provide you a comfort shower time. Metallic Brass Brush finishing showing its own classical elegant in a warm manner. I'm sure, this shower set will bring you a romantic shower and bath bathroom.

Kohler products hardly ever disappoint. I have had issues with one of their products in the past but generally they are very dependable. This Cursiva single handle 3 spray tub and shower faucet in modern brass is very elegant and modern looking at the same time. The shower head is practically a piece of art in itself and at a little under $210 it is a great value. This is a very inexpensive way to update the look of your bathroom or use it as the main focal point to decorate a new bathroom.

This is a decent set for the shower-tub. It does come with the valve so that is a huge plus. The valve changed from what kohler used to make. Now it is a metal solid piece and half of the part is made up of plastic, no big deal. Kohler still offers free lifetime warranty so there are no worries there. The shower head has 3 functions; however, it didn’t live up to the pressure I needed in my bathroom. This makes my hot water not get released at all but in my other bathroom where I ended up installing it did work with no issues. Easy to change the 3 pressure settings. The spout is metal and it has a modern feature to it. The disc is now plastic. No more metal but it should be scratch resistant. It was easy to clean unlike other stainless parts. It is good for the price. It is durable and good quality.

Ive compared a lot of these shower faucets and this one stands apart. Right off, its real metal and the brushed finish is actually brushed. Ive seen lots that were painted on. Its heavy, good quality metal and feels well built. The valve assembly is the part that takes some time on the install buts pretty straightforward. Solid brass with a high density plastic mixing portion. The shower head is good size and has adjustments for the spray pattern. One of my favorite things is the integrated pull for the shower which blends nicely with the spigot.
