36 in. W 24.8 cu. ft. Side by Side Refrigerator with Exterior Ice and Water in PrintShield Stainless Steel

I made this purchase online. I reviewed the pictures carefully and made the purchase because it matched my current refrigerator. On the pictures the side of the new refrigerator are black but when it arrived the sides are grey and that is not what I wanted. I attempted to return the refrigerator online but I was told I had to go to the Home Depot store. I have been given excuse over excuse. It’s been over a month and it still has not been picked up . They want me to bring it back to the store but I physically can’t move it . They say it’s buyers remorse, but it’s not it’s pictures don’t match what I seen online. So Home Depot has been the worth experience with buying and attempting to return appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took delivery on April 10, 2023. Workmanship/quality issues: - Dark rust spot on freezer door. This should have been found during a quality check. Door will be replaced and will take approximately 8 weeks - Spray foam insulation material had seeped out between many of the seems. Between the stainless steel and plastic molding at the top and sides of both doors; plastic to plastic joints around the boor opening on the body of the fridge. This as well should have been discovered during a quality check. I was able to clean these up with a dental pick type tool but I really should not have had to do so. Old fridge was dead so didn’t want to reject this one. In general the fridge does what a fridge should do and aside from the points above looks good. Recommend with reservations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this product in our home for 3 weeks. During that time, the bottom two drawers on the refrigerator side caused several issues. The plastic edge on the top inside of each drawer was razor sharp. Both my wife and daughter scrapped skin and drew blood when they reached into drawers. QA should have caught this. Additionally, the two drawers did not sit right in and the bottom drawer scraped against the middle drawer. We contacted the selling company where we purchased the item and had those bottom drawers replaced. The replacement drawers still had the razor edge on the drawers, but at least they fit right now.

I've only had this refrigerator for 1 day, so I can't give a review on storage and usage. However, I must give some essential design features a one-star rating. There are 3 pull-out crisper drawers on the bottom. The center drawer does not fit into the cavity because the inside back wall panel sticks out too much and prevents the drawer from fully seating into place. The drawer only needs to go back about 1/4" to fully locked in place, and the back wall is not flexible enough to allow any more movement. I'm hoping others who have this fridge can look at these pictures and tell me if their back wall panel sticks out like mine or offer any suggestions. The shelves are not height adjustable, and the ice cube bucket capacity is tiny. I don't think it will even fill up a small cooler. My old Jenn Air side-by-side had crank handles to adjust the shelf height and an ice bucket 3x the size.

I bought this in 2020 I have had 3 new freezer doors my door now is currently rusting from the inside out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only issue is the doors were crooked when it arrived. I made adjustments myself and got them closer. The bottom storage area is too high and area is wasted so I made a half shelf out of wood and painted it white to maximize storage. Technician working on my former fridge recommended Kitchenaid or GE for longevity.

It’s just been installed. Took a long time to arrive but then again my kitchen is still not finished yet and it’s been 9 month. Like the counter depth gives it a built in feel. Plenty large enough for me. Trying to get used to the ice maker noise again. All is good !

I bought a year ago, very pleased. Good quality and value for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went from a white, 22 cu ft, whirlpool bottom freezer/top fridge to this beauty. So far we are loving it. Roomy, well lit and nice to have ice & water at our fingertips. We went with black stainless steel Fridge, Double Ovens & Dishwasher and they look so rich and gorgeous. The only bad thing is they wrap this thing so tightly with plastic that we are still peeling it out of every nook and cranny of it.
