[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a Christmas present and it’s made my life so much easier I love the fact I can strip Romex then strip conductors inside

I was so excited to get these and try them, but that excitement quickly turned to disappointment. For starters it is not a smooth action when using these, it almost feels like something is caught inside of it to make it feel so choppy. The wire cutters are too small and will not cut a piece of 12/2 romex. The stripper portion is also disappointing. While it strips the romex jacket cleanly and easily it falls short by the fact that it won't always strip both conductors at the same time as I believed they would. Sometimes they do and then the next time they won't, then I have to strip each wire individually. The metal housing around the adjustment screw for the tension/wire gauge broke off while adjusting. It still works, but the fact that it broke almost immediately out of the package is also quite disappointing. In spite of the piece breaking off they do seem to be good quality and the price was great. I just wish that they would work the way I thought they would. I will be returning these asap and I will stick to using my Klein K1412 strippers.

Better w/o crimps.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The other brand variants of these auto-strippers all come with crimps that are working against the spring whereas Klein's come with great cutters.

Hesitant about them at first but now like them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't sure at first about this style of wire stripper. After using them on romex and THHN wire I realized they are pretty nice and simple to use.

I'm a shade tree mechanic/electrician... turned a simple task into an even simpler one. Clean cut and a clean strip. If I had to, I'd buy it again.
