Super Comfortable. Excellent Design. Easily adjusts while wearing for secure ‘stay in place’ fit. Great ‘hardhat’ for DIY use, which is why I selected. Protected head while working under counter during sink faucet repair, basement plumbing and for small attic bracing work. Helmet performed great during several weeks of use; preventing injury, allowing head to rest comfortably on hard objects for better focus and quicker completion of tasks. Hardly need detachable, easy to use, chin strap as helmet stays secure and comfortable with easy knob adjusting the cushioned, machine washable, padded suspension straps. A great lightweight compact rugged helmet with replacement and accessories parts further increasing value, especially light and face shield. Another Klein Tool product that exceeds expectations. Highly recommend Klein's economical Model #60147 helmet for ease of use, secure comfortable fit and durability. Optional Reflective Stickers included.

I got this helmet for my son who is a millwright. His last hardhat was in pretty bad shape and I thought of him when I seen this one. He was happily surprised with the features of this helmet. Working inside large pieces of equipment, (think power generating turbines) he constantly had his hard hat get knocked off or it fell off when the had to work above his head, so he was very impressed with it having the safety strap to keep it on. He also really likes the headlamp mount as that will also be a safety feature for him. The adjustments for fit are nice and easy to operate. Overall this is a winner according the a person that values safety at work.

This is a great hard hat that I have been using for a variety of things, from pruning branches to chainsawing. Very comfortable with the included sweat band. Came nicely packaged and I like that it has a section front and rear that will let you mount a light. Overall, seems very well built and goes great with my Klein tools gloves as well. Highly recommend!

This Safety Helmet is a Non-Vented-Class E, (Blue) by Klein Tools. It is rated as Type 1, with electrical protection to 20kV. Overall, the construction is comfortable and the advance in comfort tech is obvious. Unlike previous versions of safety helmets, this particular model has upped the comfort big time by generously adding padding where it is needed most. The inside crown is more comfortable on the top of your head and the padding along the inside edges helps with extended wearing. The material the inside padding is made of is some kind of soft, sweat absorbing mesh (much like a good quality swimsuit) which makes it remarkably comfortable. The fabric is also washable which is awesome. The suspension inside is perfect to balance the helmet to stay in the correct orientation instead of the typical slipping forward or back. The BIGGEST improvement with this model is the Size Adjustment Knob on the back. This is so incredibly cool! Instead of the old-fashioned way of adjusting to your head with trial and error, this one you just turn the knob until it fits comfortably! Could not be any easier! LOVE IT! It also has a rear neck pad which is another huge bonus, especially during the sweaty summer months. There is ample room in the back to loop a bandana knot out so it doesn’t give you a headache pressing on your head all day. (Speaking from experience.) The outside of the helmet has two slots (1 in front and 1 in the rear) that are designed to hold a headlamp(s) or a work light(s) securely which is a nice feature. Definitely better than the old-school way of relying on a flexible headband that slips up and off the helmet. Klein Tools has certainly addressed all the comfort issues commonly associated with wearing a safety helmet and this model is by far a terrific improvement! Highly recommend it!

Nice solid helmet with an awesome 6 point headband adjustment system with sweatband and the ability to add accessories on to it. Electrical protection to 20KV . This is not the most stylish safety helmets but its very comfortable and solid. The adjustable MIPS style headband fits size 6 to 8. It fits snugly to your head without giving you a headache . Not a big fan of the chin guard but it is functional. This is not vented but with the adjustment system suspended inside the helmet there is plenty of air flow. The front and back have mounting slots for lights or other things. There is also a provisions for Brand visor. Looks as if they make 2 specific usb-c lights.

My first impression is the helmet is nicely packaged. It's also very easy to open. The helmet is solid.
Once pulled from the box there's a sticker that it's for size 6.5 to 8 heads. It fit my size Large right out of the box except for easily adjusting the leather part of the chin strap. The suspension has two adjusters in the rear and two adjustments in the front which have an unlock/lock mechanism that fit me right off.
Stuff you might want to know-
Easily clears my eyeglasses frames by about 1/2" while putting on and taking off helmet.
Per the manual the helmet has a 1 year useful life which I assume has something to do with safety.
Optional lights fit front and rear with or without a strap. USB and standard battery versions available.
Optional visor fits onto helmet.
