About This Product

Built with professionals and hobbyists in mind, the all-new Foreman Pocket-Hole Machine is packed with features that will have you building with twice the speed and half the effort of a standard pocket-hole jig. The Foreman DB210 offers all of the same features and capabilities of our professional-grade machines in a machine that's versatile, portable, and extremely affordable. Create pocket holes with amazing speed and accuracy time and time again. Simply pull the large control handle to start the powerful 110-Volt motor, clamp your workpiece securely in place, and raise the drill bit through the table. This simple operation drills a precisely-placed pocket hole at the perfect depth in materials from 1/2 in. - to 11/2 in. thick. To ensure perfect pocket-hole placement, the Foreman DB210 features a tool-free adjustable fence that positions your workpiece for precise pocket depth, and a pair of adjustable, spring-loaded stops that provide repeatable accuracy. Plus, clear markings in the table make it easy to position the fence for your material thickness. The Foreman comes with a standard 3/8 in. Kreg stepped drill bit to get you started for materials from 1/2 in. - to 11/2 in. thick. It's also compatible with the Kreg Micro-Pocket Bit to create more compact pocket holes in thinner stock, and the Kreg HD (Heavy-Duty) Bit for creating strong joints in 11/2 in. and thicker stock.

Q:So, the professional grade pocket hole machines creates a pocket hole that does not need to be clamped and will not cause the 2 pieces being joined to slip past each other. Do this machine do that?

      Answer This Question

A:  Thanks for the questions. The Kreg Foreman will create the same pocket-hole as the standard jig. You will still need to clamp the material when installing the screws.

A:  I have owned this machine for over 6 years and have been very pleased with the performance and durability. As far as not having to clamp your work, that's another issue altogether. The machine only drills one member, so the grain in the undrilled member will always come into play. I have used this machine to make numerous sets of kitchen cabinets and I always clamp every joint. I really don't think its realistic to not have to use clamps, but it depends on what type of work you are doing and what you want your end result to look like.

        by|Jul 27, 2021

A:  No, this is just for making pocket holes fast! 25 times faster than handheld machines.

The Kreg Foreman was easy to assemble and set up. It really speeds up production in our small shop. And adjustments changing from ¾" to 1½" material is a snap

The Kreg 3/4HP Foreman Pocket Hole Machine is awesome. Makes work a lot easier and much quicker. Very easy to use and has made a nice pocket hole each time. Can't imagine going back to the traditional way of doing them. So far, super happy with this purchase! We give it 2 Thumbs Up!!

For the price and time on the market I expected the motor to be more powerful. The manual screw clamp is aweful, basically useless. The older clamp methods in other machines worked better. Kreg needs to redue this. Alot of plastic parts that won't last on the jobsite. Disappointed

Saves time for me. I drill about 1500 pocket holes per month. So far I’ve only had one month but haven’t had any issues.

Much quicker making pocket holes then using small Kreg tool. Well worth the money!

So I bought this because I am building more and more custom cabinets and furniture (even though this is supposedly still just a hobby!) and it is a complete time saver. I’d have to say that I can do pocket hole 4 times as fast than with the Kreg 520. Very simple to make adjustments for the different thickness of wood I stick in there. I am a little leery of the plastic handle but time will tell if it handles the rigors I so far have put it through. If it lasts me 3-4 year I will have definitely got my moneys worth as it has already substantially speeded up my time that it takes to build cabinets or furniture. Kreg scores again!
