This looks great. It would be great too, but 2 out of 3 I received were defective. The set screw hit serious resistance with about 1/4 inch to go. One of the two, I tried to keep turning with some muscle and it popped the back of the exterior square off the set screw. I had to cut it free as the screw was free-spinning.
I'm not certain, but the end of the set screw must have rusted, because the male parts came out with rust at the tops. The one that wasn't defective installed in minutes though - very simple.

The Kwickset Halifax Square Privacy Door Lever is a great product. The chrome finish looks great...
The Kwickset Halifax Square Privacy Door Lever is a great product. The chrome finish looks great, and the square shape gives a nice touch. The handle has a nice weight to it, and feels like it was put together right and will last a long time. The door lever does lock but requires the Kwickset emergency key (not included in the package, but can be picked up cheaply). The instructions include a layout that you can use to cut and notch out the door for installation.

Didn't work after 2 years
I bought 3 of these locks and all 3 started having issues in lock after 2 years. One of them completely stopped working. Even if you push it down, it won't lock.
Other 2 will not lock 2 out of 3 times. Need to turn the handle a few times to lock the door. Poor quality locks.
