29 cu. ft. SMART Standard Depth MAX French Door Refrigerator with Full Convert Drawer in PrintProof Stainless Steel

I never knew I needed a convert drawer until I got one. LG is known for making quality appliance products and this refrigerator is no exception. It is nearly 29 cubic and boasts a lot of amenities. The interior shelves are adjustable and one thing I really like is that the shelves are half shelves. This means that instead of spanning the full width of the fridge they are adjustable at the half. This allows you to adjust for tall bottles and cartons on one side and not the other. Because of the ice maker, one door has some narrow shelves that will house smaller bottles. While the other door shelves allow you plenty of room for jars, a gallon tea, or milk cartons and more. One of the great features on this fridge is the dual ice makers. There is a smaller one in the door which is dispensed with the the ice and water dispenser in the door. It gives you the option for crushed ice or regular. This model does not have craft ice, but it produces a lot of ice. In the freezer drawer is another ice maker with a bin that holds quite a bit of ice. The bin measures 16 inches long by 8 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. It is accessed by opening the chest freezer drawer. The freezer holds quite a bit of stuff and I like that it has a bottom part for items then a drawer on top of that that holds more items. This enables you to keep things a little more organized. The feature I like most is the convert drawer. It is between the freezer and the top and is able to be used as a freezer, wine chiller, or refrigerator for deli meats, cheeses etc. I have always kept my meats and cheeses in a bin in the fridge which requires me to pull out the bins and sort through it. This convert drawer is positioned to give you a birds eye view and you can see all of your meat, cheeses, yogurts, etc, easily. It comes with one divider but has a slot to position the divider in various places. I am looking to purchase more of these dividers but haven't found them online anywhere. One noticeable thing is the temperature of the fridge. I don't like water, but if i drink a bottle of it, I want it to be cold. And cold it is in this fridge. It is set at 37 degrees by default, but gives you the option to lower or raise the degrees in increments of one. I set mine at 36 and it makes for an ice cold water. The adjustments are inside the right door and can be adjusted easily. This fridge has door handles which I like. I had another one that didn't have actual handles and it kept constant fingerprints on the door. The handles are solid and easy to install. The doors are amazing. Soft close. Simply push the door to close and it will close softly without a slam. The print proof stainless steel is great. While it is not completely print proof, it does not show a lot of prints. My last stainless had to be constantly wiped down, this one is easier to maintain. One sidenote is that it is heavy and difficult to get in the house. Home Depot delivered and set it in the garage. I have a 36 inch front door and with the door removed, it wouldn't fit through without removing the hinges from the door frame. Fortunately, my back doors are double French doors, so I brought it through the back of the house. My point being, this fridge is big (35.75 x 70.25 x 34.25) and may require you to take the fridge doors off, depending on your situation. LG has engineered a great product and I couldn't be happier.

Overall this is a stunningly designed appliance. The lines are sharp and fingerprint free, or very close. The middle compartment is convertible as a fridge, or freezer with 6 options (ex, deli, meat, wine, etc) with set temp dialed in by maker. My old model uses proprietary Wi-Fi filter, this used plain water filter cartridge and NOT expensive or proprietary. Im loving ❤ the engineered quality, with a few issues on design im not thrilled about. The good: Almost SILENT compressor. You cannot hear it run, at all. The interior is a cavern, with two huge crispers, however they have no temp adjustment. The main shelf is truly spillproof. This model has bonus.ice.maker in freezer, selectable on-off inside door..all controls inside door. Doors come off easily with few tools if necessary to fit thru a 30" door. Also ice cubes are real cubes, or (nice!) With smaller ones in door (and crushed), and large normal cubes in bottom freezer in.supplied custom bin. Summer ready! Even door disp. can fit a quart cup and its quick fill. Love the flexibility and adjustable.temps galore. Ok, now. The weird: The door dispenser. One selectable button for 3 features. But select is on water button, so push the water icon 3 times for crushed ice? No labeling either, a symbol. My small child cant select either, it a finger sensor, shes too small. I cant sometimes, pushing nonstop sometimes. Oh, and there is NO door dispenser light at all. I cant see it at nite. Second, only one shelf adjustment. Needed 1 inch higher (to fit a gallon of milk, really?) but i have 4 inch increase. Now one shelf is a few iiches tall, almost useless. Third. Door shelves are not sized for common containers. Ketchup, etc. Have to find a spot elsewhere. lastly the middle drawer can be convertible to a freezer, yet has only one.light and its on right side, none on left. LG must be afraid of light, as even interior has only one up top, none on sides pr doors. Its does have a fresh filter inside in back. Im loving the new fridge even if it takes getting used to, but the idiotic door dispenser has me wishing it was my old one with actual buttons.

The LG 29 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator w/Convert Drawer, Ice/Water Dispenser, Dual Handle, in PrintProof Black STS (stainless steel), PrintProof Black Stainless Steel is just plain gorgeous. The delivery went smoothly and the communication from both the shipper and The Home Depot was spot on. The stainless exterior was well protected with film and made for a flawless appearance once the film was removed. The fingerprint resistant surface really works unlike other brands. I moved up from a 26.5 cubic feet refrigerator to this beast and it seems way roomier than the 2.5 cubic feet difference. I am not sure what LG meant by “Standard Depth” but this bad boy is about 3 inches deeper than my old fridge. Even so, the extra depth did not interfere with my smallish kitchen. The refrigerator has so many great qualities, it is hard to say what I like the most. The French-door design makes accessing the everyday items so easy. The interior of the fridge is illuminated with strip led lights, but the light is subdued and easy on the eyes. The silver back on the interior really helps the brightness. The upper 4 shelves are adjustable, but I found the factory layout perfect for my needs. The door pockets on the right side are larger/deeper than those on the left. The lower right side pocket holds 2 liter soda bottles as well as gallon milk containers. LG’s attention to detail on the door cooling with special cooling techniques keep products stored in the door cooler. I do miss my egg holder. The lower bins are enormous to hold any variety of produce or meats. The French-door design is so much better than the narrow confines of a side-by-side. The convertible middle drawer is a really nice feature with the 5 temperature adjustments. I set mine to “freezer” mode and store my more often used items there. The lower chest-style drawer has overcome the shortcomings of a chest freezer with an extra drawer. This makes finding food items much easier than having to dig to the bottom of a typical chest freezer. A frozen pizza fits flat in the drawer. Needless to say, the capacity of this refrigerator is fantastic. The controls are easy to use and quite intuitive. This fridge has 2 ice-producing devices. The one in the door dispenses either cubed or crushed ice through the door. The second, in the lower drawer, also produces cubed ice, but you can turn that one off and use the extra space for more frozen goodies. My fridge started producing ice within a half day. The ice production is very quiet, especially after a few cycles of ice dumping into the bins. I think the way the door ice is stored will keep it from absorbing refrigerator odors. The water that is dispensed is actually cold and not cool like previous fridges I have owned. The opening is very tall for all the insulated water tumblers on the market these days. The ThinQ app recognized the new fridge and installed it without any effort at all. The app lets you adjust the interior light brightness, monitors temperature, energy and water usage as well as ice usage. The air filter is a nice touch and the water filter is easy to install and is much more affordable than other brands. According to the Energy Guide, the average energy use is about 30 cents per day! The compressor is extremely quiet. If you are shopping for a new refrigerator, the LG with the convertible drawer is the way to go and deserves your consideration.

This LG 29 cu, ft. SMART Standard Depth MAX French Door Refrigerator is a fantastic piece of equipment for the kitchen. large refrigerator section with deep door shelves i don't think you could hide anything in it because when both doors are open you can see everything that in there, Then you have the full convert drawer and that means if you need more freezer room make the drawer into a freezer, if you need more refrigerator reset to refrigerator temperature is that easy. and then you have this giant freezer will hold better than half a cow. I am very pleased with mine.

We've been using this new fridge for a week now and it's been a very easy and smooth transition from our old fridge.  This fridge is large; it really maximizes every bit of space inside. I can put three gallons of milk from front to back. A whole pizza box easily slides right in. The middle drawer is nice because it can alternate between being used as a fridge or freezer. We use it for drinks and cold cuts/cheese. This wide middle drawer takes a little more effort to open and close than it seems it should but it's not a big deal. I prefer this wide drawer separate whereas it was within the french drawers in our last fridge so every time I wanted to access the drawer I needed to fully open both doors.  The freezer drawer (and the drawer within) slide smoothly and easily and there is ample storage. The french drawers open easily and quietly and smoothly shut without much push. One side of the door has shallow storage (think salad dressing bottles) and the other door allows for big items. The fridge starts beeping if I've left the doors open too long (about a minute). There is ice both in the freezer and on the door dispenser (crushed and cubed). The water dispenser is lower than our last fridge and good for young kids to access (or could that be a bad thing, lol). I do wish it were a little taller as many of our water bottles have to be tucked in at an angle to fill as there isn't enough room to stand up straight.  Fingerprints wipe away very nicely! Overall we are very happy with this fridge in both form and function. 

A great unit overall! I love the 4 door model. The freezer on the bottom is great with the refrigerated drawer in the middle. The double doors on top make everything easily accessible. Nice to have the ice and water in the door too. I needed to get this through a 32 inch x 80 inch door instead of a standard 36 inch x 80 inch door, so I needed to remove the doors. This fridge was very easy to disassemble and put back together once it was in the house. It came with a long water hook up hose for the ice maker. Upon plugging in it was completely chilled in about an hour. The shelves do not offer as many configurations as most other models on the market, but will still accommodate a family of four or five with no problems. The wheels make pulling it in and out a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is amazing! I never thought of LG when thinking kitchen appliances and this has completely converted me. I had a different brand (big brand name in kitchens) for many years and had issues from the start. It was noisy, it would constantly hum and on numerous occasions the circulation fan broke causing parts to freeze and parts to not get cold at all. This refrigerator is quiet and extremely spacious. I love the design (pocket handles) the interior space is HUGE and I absolutely love the convertible draw that can be used as a fridge or freezer! If this is a sign of LG products, I cannot wait to convert my entire kitchen over!!

I love the look of this fridge, the flat, flush panels, French doors and smooth drawers that open and close gently. The lighting inside the fridge is actually pleasing, not too bright or too dark. A gentle chime goes off as a reminder if the door remains open for 40 seconds or so. The fridge has lots of storage and organizational possibilities. Deep shelves, drawers for produce and useful door shelving. The Convert Drawer is another added storage bonus. It is located in the middle, between the fridge and freezer section, right at the perfect height for easy access. The freezer is an easy pull-out drawer and has a top shelf drawer for ice or ice cream to be readily accessible. The freezer drawer has two deep sides that can hold lots of food. The ice maker works beautifully, never pouring out too quickly or spilling onto the floor. I love the look, functionality and storage of this refrigerator, my nicest fridge yet.

-The ice machine and water filter built into the water dispenser door is brilliant design saving space in the actual refrigerator -There is adequate space in the refrigerator also the deep doors makes room for extra condiments -The soft close doors and soft close freezer draw work 100% of the time. -The drawers inside the refrigerator are humongous. You can fit a store bought roasted chicken in each draw. -The freezer has plenty of room and ice. Key note you end up losing freezer space to the ice tray. If you’re an ice person it’s worth it. If you’re not I haven’t tried it but I believe you can turn it off. And remove the tray. - This unit doesn’t have craft ice. I would hope to see a craft ice retro-fit kit for this fridge -Over all this fridge has a luxury feel to it. I caught myself opening the fridge and admiring the craftsmanship and stainless steel - The app is great can adjust temps and night lighting. Tell you how much ice you have and can turn on feature to make additional. Keep tabs on water/ ice usage/ and how long door were left open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge replaced an older top freezer fridge with interior ice maker and it definitely is an upgrade. The exterior stainless steel finish is sleek, fingerprint resistant and easy to keep clean. The handles and doors are solid with a nice soft close. I didn’t think I would but we love the door water/ice dispenser and it can accommodate our taller cups. My concern was that water/ice would splash on the floor but it does not. This fridge has lots of capacity and makes food organization and storage much easier with plenty of room to spare. The interior shelf heights can easily be adjusted to suit our needs. The middle drawer compartment converts to a freezer very easily if needed but the lower freezer is quite spacious and is enough for our current frozen food needs. Overall we Love this fridge and definitely recommend it! ❤️! Now if only I can figure out how to get it to prep/cook my meals. 🤣
