About This Product

This portable air conditioner is the smart choice for versatile cooling. Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This quiet unit is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 350 sq. ft. The unit has 2 cooling and fan speeds and a 24-hour timer to create a cooling schedule. The auto-swing air vent helps direct the flow of air where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Easy rolling casters allow you to efficiently move the unit to another location. Other features include an LCD remote control, easy window venting installation kit, removable/washable filter and a check filter alert.

          Used this unit for 3 summers on my 3rd floor and this year does not cool. Fan comes on but at is NOT cold. This is a total bummer! It cost more to fix it than to just buy another unit. Which is NOT going to happen especially since this one barely lasted for the money that was laid out. Totally disappointed.

            MOLD DAMAGE YOUR HOME AS A BONUS
            these units are for temporary use as on like minutes a day, they make a complete negative pressure in your home so keep in mind the air that's being exhausted outdoors has to be replaced from somewhere, hot air from every hole and nook in your home will be pulled in and instantly be turned into condensation behind walls and trim, that makes mold. steer clear and save the trouble this unit caused my celing tiles to fall also from the pressure it was pulling behind the furred celing

              Helps keep my upstairs cool
              2022 has been the hottest summer I can remember, so I bought this to help keep my upstairs cool as I live in a split level house with 1 zone of HVAC. So far it has done a nice job of doing so. I like the wifi feature as you can control this day on your phone through the app. I am pleased with this product.

                Water puddles all over the floor
                I bought this in white then less than a yeapassed and it stopped working while under warranty - it started to leak out the vent flooding entire room. Customer service is there just to blow you off. I called them numerous times, they promise to fix, replace, etc.....but do NOTHING, it is nothing but a scam!

                  NEEDS A DRAIN HOSE
                  The instructions say this only needs a drain hose on dry mode. The back of the unit says it hose for DRY MODE ONLY. Guess what? Nope. This needs a drain hose regardless if you have this on cool mode or dry mode. And guess what else? It doesn't come with one! Imagine my panic when hauling this heavy thing up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment (I am a little chick...120lbs and 5 ft tall) to find out this evening that there was a huge puddle all over my floor. And the unit doesn't warn you....no beeps, no auto shut off. Just water everywhere. My other LG unit with the same exact specs (that I bought less than two years ago) works perfectly, so why wouldn't I think this would too? I'm extremely annoyed. And it's quite loud. I liked my other LG unit better than my Honeywell one that finally gave out on me. But I should have gotten another Honeywell. So you'll have to remember to dump the water every day. This is not a hassle free unit.

                    I didn’t order a water fountain, did I?
                    Saw this on my daily run in the Home Depot of my reno few days ago and we discovered the whole carpet is wet after a night of usage. And we didn’t use it in the following days until we found a very short garden hose connector. So last night, i turned it on with the water coming out in mind. We changed about 3 buckets (3-4 gal) in 7 hours. The water continues to come once I turn it on, I almost thought it’s a new water feature except I need to replace and drain the buckets every 2 hours.

                        Read the fine print before using smart phone app. You will be giving this Korean company access to lots of your data. I bought this becase it was “smart”, but I will be skipping the app and using the remote instead.
