It works, but...
We installed this 2 days ago. The part of the door that you're supposed to be able to see through is only a little part at the top of the door. My wife is 5' 2". She put some soup in to heat it and turned it on. She cannot see in the door to see if it's overflowing and it almost did. The bottom of the door is blacked out and I'm 5' 10" and I have to walk up to the microwave to see over the blackened part of the door. It's a design flaw that needs to be addressed. We'll be returning this one to the store and looking for something else where the door is easier to see through.

Great features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in December, but did not get it installed until around the 9th of January. We got it installed and then could not open the door. The door was not made the same as our old microwave e that we replaced which I found out later was a called zero clearance door. I could have returned it, but this is the brand and model I wanted.
My husband did some modifications to the cabinet so that the microwave now sits lower than our old one. This way it cleared the cabinet wall and now fits fine. He had to make adjustments to the cabinet to get it to vent to the old opening as well. Thanks to his skill, we now have the microwave I wanted, and I am very happy with it so far.
The features are great. It would have been nice is LG made a zero clearance door so that we did not have to go through all the modifications, but turned out ok in the end. I love it.

More and better than advertised.

We did our due diligence in seeking and searching for an unit that would serve all of our needs, wants and style. We chose this LG because it checked off many if not most of our checklist. But after getting my unit home, unpacked and prepped for install I just couldn’t help admiring its style and beauty. Then reading the manual and discovering that this unit could do it all, from melt ice cream to cook hamburgers. It has setting that will self select based on the content of moisture it detects from the item being prepared. In my opinion this is a tremendous purchase and one that I would recommend to anyone looking for a complete microwave/oven, because it truly is both
