Able to install on LTCS20020W, after asking Professionals who couldn't explain to me
So I've been asking LG professional and none was able to help me out, which was pretty much a waste of time. I"ve downloaded the PDF instruction manual and it wasn't able to show me what is that round notch plug in the front of the fridge and how does that 6 prong terminal able to connect to that round knob. So it took a chance after reviews of people saying it won't fit because of the prong. After getting the unit, the instructions manual basically says that the round knob is a cap that must be removed to expose the 6 prong terminal that you can connect to. You guys at LG and home depot should have downloaded the newer installation manual that comes with this ice maker so it's much clearer. I had to keep 2nd guessing myself and how would I get this round notch to fit, instead you guys could be clear that you just have to remove that round notch that is a cap. Overall once it was installed it made ice and it did what I bought it to do.

Instructions are horrible, but you can do it
The instructions that come with the icemaker are awful. Two separate installation crews from Home Depot couldn't figure out how to install the icemaker and decided that either it was the wrong icemaker, or that an adaptor was needed to connect it. Luckily, I followed the advice that nuggen and Pete left in their reviews and was able to install it myself. The newer installation instructions show how to pop off the cover inside the freezer to connect it - the ones that come with the product do not. When connecting the water control valve, Pete's directions were the only thing that saved me. The wire harness does not fit like you think it should, you have to turn it 90 degrees and line up only pins 1-4. To attach it, you have to use 2 slots with foam insulation along the outside edge. Thanks, Pete and nuggen! It's working great now.

        NOT TO BAD
OK, If your reading this the Ice Maker is actually pretty good. If you plan to install it yourself you need to be a bit mechanically savy. The directions are OK, not great. Pictures are fair. Installing the unit in the freezer will require you to remove the ROUND Cap in the rear of the freezer. Not the square cover. The 4 Pin electrical connector is behind the round cover. The rest is straight forward. Locating the Water Control Valve in the rear is not so clear in the directions. Remove the aluminum rear cover, then unscrew the small plastic louvered cover on the right of the rear cover. (One Screw holds it). You will see a 1" by 3/4" slot with foam insulation in it along the outside edge of the refrigerator. Remove some of the foam and insert the Valves hook shaped retainer in that location. The one screw holding it will line up with a small round hole below that. Screw the unit it. Ensure you have installed the wire harness Per the directions first (pins 1 thru 4). The receiving connector is in the rear of the refrigerator (use a flashlight to see it clearly). The remaining installation is per the directions. It does not start to make ice immediately. WAIT 24 hours and see if there are any ice cubes in the bin.

The ice maker did not fit. Your installer stated that the fittings don’t match. He just left it there. We still have no ice maker.
