Taking accurate measurements in your home is critical when purchasing a new refrigerator. Here are step by step instructions on how to do it correctly.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- Water connection kit required
- 110V-grounded, 3-prong electrical outlet
- Water valve (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up

AnswersYou can fit two. I have a gallon of milk, and a gallon of water. I store water so I can quickly fill the kids' water bottles. I find it easier than using the front water dispenser due to varying water bottle sizes. This way, no mess.
what does the wifi feature actually do?

AnswersIn theory it allows you to connect a smartphone app with it so you can remotely see temps, change them, speed up the ice machine for more ice over a shorter period, get an alarm if a door is ajar, get notices about when filters should be changed, and set energy saving features/see energy usage/see door openings to date for a month and historically. In reality, LG updates the app here and there but by and large, connectivity is a big issue. You have to turn the breaker off and on after waiting 30 seconds to get it to reconnect to your network by itself. Read the app reviews to see. So in my book, it has the idea in place but the actual use of wifi is denied the user/owner by a sputtering and at most times useless app.

That I am not happy with this product. We did get the upgrade to this model which has the window to the beverage door and lights when you knock on it..
First the right door does not swing open all the way and closes on us when we are in the fridge.
2nd the ice maker on top is hard to open door and the basket is difficult to get out. Ice bunches and melts and sticks on the right side. Once you use the crush option it sounds like it is grinding like crushing ice.
3rd the veggie drawers have a gap at the top allowing for more air to get in which causes food to spoil quicker.
A good option is the 2nd ice maker in the freezer.
Very nice refrigerator my wife loves it especially the door in the door feature.

I bought this fridge 3 years ago because the reviews were awesome and the size of the fridge was perfect for my kitchen remodel. Here I sit 3 years and 4 months after I plugged it in and it is 10.4C in the fridge and 4C in the freezer and I lost $400 dollars worth of food. LG claims to have a worry free out of warranty service option, parts and service included for $249, until you try and use it! Then they will send a tech who cannot fix it because it is a closed unit and you will sit in the vortex of customer non service for a week before they tell you to to pay out of pocket. If you buy this fridge or any other LG appliance make sure you buy the Home Depot extended warranty plan and make sure they can fix a closed unit.

We've had this for a few days and I have yet to hear it run, it is whisper quiet. It's huge. The water hookup was a piece of cake. Makes ice very quickly, the door in door option is the BOMB!!! So far it's making the wife happy and that is the GOAL!!!

I was concerned going from a two door, bottom freezer, that I would loose door space. Not so, because of the double door on the right. How convenient, I can not imaging being with out it now.
