Q:It occurred to me, after ordering this unit, that the see-through panel on the right-hand door might not be insulated and affect cooling efficiency, and possibly cause the panel to form condensation. Any answers?

Piece of Crap and HORRIBLE SERVICE
This fridge is less than 1 yr old. It's been serviced 2x- It is not cooling. The 1st time, the repairman put in a new compressor & ice maker. The box continued to not cool. 2nd time he replaced all refrigerant. Later that night, the fridge temp. was 64/ freezer was 58. LG said that the repairman would be out today to complete 3rd service. Then, LG cancelled this appt but didn't notify me. I have lost food/ meds twice & have no working refrigerator. LG customer service is HORRIBLE.

Love this LG French door refrigerator
We had an older model LG for 4 years which never could make enough ice. When this went caput, we still liked this LG model & bought the 2022 version, because it’s full depth, deep refrigerator fit exactly in our custom-cabinet. The new LG has two ice makers; still water/ice dispenser in the door, and a very cool solid round ice maker in the freezer! The baskets in the upper frig are better made. Also the 2nd drawer has a new feature of either being a freezer or refrigerator. Very cool!

Great features, great Quality and Performance.
I’ve waiting for this Refrigerator for a long time due to The Pandemic, but finally it’s here and I’m very excited. After living with an old half working refrigerator this one is a big upgrade. Very pleased. It looks great in my kitchen. It’ works great , the craft ice is a nice feature when entering.

Nice improvements in this new model
I replaced my previous Samsung that was the previous model of this one. Two new features were the craft ice balls along with the selectable temp settings for the drawer PLUSE the drawer can now also be set for freezer temperature. Those features work great. I really like the craft ice. The balls are a good size and freeze clear other than one end of ball. It makes 3 or 6 balls a day depending on selectable setting in app. One feature I was really disappointed in was the measured water feature. I assumed that I could set container below water dispenser, select water amount and it would fill to that amount as a previous KitchenAid fridge I had, but it does NOT. You have to hold container on paddle until water shuts off. It you let off paddle, it stops filling. If I have to hold paddle the whole time, it isn't actually auto fill. It would be nice since this fridge has wifi, if it could be updated via internet to change this feature so that it is auto fill like my KitchenAid was. The fridge works great and has accurate temp settings as I have checked them. It would be nice for the main shelves to be more adjustable like the shelf in door can do by simple sliding it up and down. The drawers all slide very easy even when the freezer is full.

Terrific so far (2 weeks in)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 3 year old LG that died. This new LG is terrific so far. We love the flexible drawer (can be fridge or freezer) and the craft ice balls are AWESOME. The smart features are really the Biden gem of this unit: it monitors your usage (what days and times do use the most ice, when do you usually have the door opening a lot) and works to ensure you’re never out of ice or have less than ideally cold food. Our old LG’s “smart” features,… weren’t. Constantly had to enable Ice Plus etc to keep up. Now it’s automatic. The redesigned fridge storage sections are really great. The condiments door is terrific. The freezer is cavernous. By far the best fridge feature for feature you can buy right now. Super happy with it. Also bought the optional 5 year full warranty because we really want to keep this fridge long term.
