About This Product

(Note: If product is not available to order in your area that is due to nighttime temperatures. Product may not cure and/or track in late Fall and early Spring applications). 1-Pallet (36-Pails) of Latex-ite 4.75-Gal. Airport Grade Driveway Filler Sealer is an asphalt emulsion based low VOC driveway sealer designed to beautify and protect your blacktop driveway. Airport grade is a non-skid formula that will fill hairline (1/8 in. or less) cracks and is polymer fortified for added durability. Helpful Hints before you seal your driveway: 1. Figure out how many pails you need by using the coverage information below in the bullet points. The size and condition of your pavement will dictate how many you need. 2. Flip pails over night prior to doing job (it will be much easier to mix in the morning and will ensure consistency during application). 3. Do the project all at one time without starting and stopping. 4. Check the weather and make sure no rain is forecast and it is at least 55°F at night (a cold driveway will not allow the sealer to cure properly). 5. Check latexite.com for further tips and How To Videos.

  • 4-year warranty
  • Coverage on smooth or previously sealed driveways 400-500 sq. ft. per pail
  • Coverage on rough, porous or unsealed driveways 300-400 sq. ft. per pail
  • Remember: clean your driveway thoroughly so sealer will bond and make sure you do not seal when it is cold outside, it must be at least 55° at night for sealer to properly cure and last
  • Do not seal in early spring or late fall as the sealer will not last - it will not cure properly and may track
  • Ideal for sealing hairline cracks in asphalt or blacktop driveways and walkways
  • Polymer fortified for strength and flexibility
  • Low VOC, coal tar free, and PAH compliant
  • soap and water cleanup

Good sand slurry mix without the typical asphalt seal smell. Two coats did well. A liitle overpriced for seal. I would recomend buying cheaper seal and mix silica sand with a drill. Will save money and do the same. Otherwise a good product.

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,"Power-steering/scuff marks are common when the temperatures and humidity are higher. The marks will subside in a week or two’s time, and any blemishes should be able to be swept out with a stiff broom or fade themselves. During this time period it is important to keep your wheels moving when turning as this will eliminate the likelihood of the marks. We have reached out to this customer with an offer of FRESH product to make this situation right but have not received a response. Dalton Enterprises strives for 100% customer satisfaction. We encourage any customer with a problem to contact us via phone or email at (800) 851-5606 or cust_service@latexite.com.”

        amended review
I originally wrote that this product does NOT cover any where near the posted amount on buckets. It says it will cover 300-500 sq feet per bucket. It only covered 141 sq feet over a 60,000 plus parking lot. The company will NOT back any warranty if they deem it to be a commercial lot. Ours is for a church. DONT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT BACKING FROM MANUFACTURER!

It says on the bucket that it will cover between 300- 500 square feet. My application only covered 145 square feet per bucket. It mixes well with a heavy drill and a paint mixer attachment. It spreads easily with a squeegee.

Dalton Enterprises, Inc. must stress that in order to get a quality result, it is critical to follow the stated instructions, guidelines and recommendations. As stated on our pail - “Our product is not applicable on commercial parking lots” for the very reasons you are describing and due to the high volume of traffic and increased rate of wear and tear. In addition, please refer to the label on our pail - Coverage Per Pail – “Amount varies depending on pavement condition and method of application.” Average coverage rates for residential application are listed, however, commercial parking lots would vary immensely due to the age, condition, type of asphalt and traffic volume.

So far so good. Went on very easy and looks great. I usually redo my driveway every 3-4 years so I don't pay much attention to how log it will last. I've used formulas that are suppose to last for 10 year that only lasted a 3 years and I used ones that say 2 years but lasted 4. Time will tell!
