Product Details

The Legrand Wiremold 500 and 700 series raceway is ideal for surface mounting small amounts of electrical wiring or communication cables. Surface metal raceway allows you to add fixtures and outlets without disturbing the drywall, plaster or insulation in your home. It is also ideal for adding wire when you can't go into the wall, such as on concrete foundations or brick walls. Combine with other 500 or 700 series connectors, fittings, and channel to ensure you have the right customization for every project.
  • For installation of oversized switches, outlets, dimmers, or GFCI receptacles
  • Deep, 1-3/4 in. box leaves plenty of room in the box for wires
  • Base has 1/2 in. trade sized knockout

        A:  Sure, as long as it's under a roof and will never ever get wet. Otherwise, no, don't do it.

          A:  Our raceways are designed to be installed indoor, dry locations only. Raceway should not be installed in areas that are considered wet or damp locations.

            A:  Yes, as long as the area is ALWAYS dry. You will need to figure out how to bring the power (wiring) to the wire mold. If the area is subject to rain or moisture than consider Exterior PVC conduit, connectors, and boxes with weather-rated covers.
