This 15 Amp Preferred Switch is ridiculously cheap and super high quality. It is made to last long you can feel it when you hold it in your hand. Installation was super easy I just took out the faulty switch and replaced it with this brand new unit and it works well no flickering sound when turning on or off.
It has been over a year since i installed it and it still works as day one. Hopefully i won't need to change this anytime soon.

A non-commercial grade Leviton single pole wall switch with commercial grade features. The only right way to wire this switch is using either the back wire or side wire methods. While it does provide for the "Back Stab" method with 14 gauge solid copper wire only, tests have shown this is not a good method; and there is no need for it with the much improved "Back Wire" method. The back wire method relies on screws, clamps and indentations for the wire. Leviton has put a lot of research into the design of the clamps as they are ideally suited for back wiring. This switch includes a ground wire screw which is not found on every single pole switch. The lower mounting screw passes through a brass plate usually found only on commercial grade switches. CU is the abbreviation for Copper. CU CLAD stands for copper clad over aluminum. If pulling wire, CU is superior.

My review is of the Leviton single pole wall switch in black. The toggle is gloss black. It requires a firm push to switch to change positions. There is a noticeable 'click' sound and feel when it is in on or off. There are screw and press connections for the switched line. A note on the back of the switch states to use #14 copper wire only. There is also a ground wire screw connection. The switch seems to be well made and durable. Looks nice and works well for my application.

Attractive Black Switch
Wanted a black switch when upgrading the components in my shop. Fit my existing electrical switch box without any issues. Screws included. Positive toggle feel. Hides dirty hand marks on the switch (need to replace the cover to black too...)
