I have had one for several years I use it to dim the low voltage lights on my deck. It has been awesome and without any problems. As an electrician and a Home Depot employee I highly recommend them. The reason your dimmer keeps burning out maybe you have too much wattage going through the dimmer. Check and see you don’t overload it. You should stay below 80% of the rated wattage.
