What is the best dimmer switch for these lights? I bought one but it does not work.

AnswersThese can only be dimmed by a zero to ten volt dimmer switch which requires a separate wire and switch. They cannot be dimmed from the main 120V switch circuit.

AnswersWarm white is around 3000 K and has warm , yellow and even orange glow. Cool white is 5000 K and has more blue and is brighter to the eye. So my opinion is office or desk and modern look go with the cool white, Home, comfortable traditional incandescent go with the warm white. good luck

AnswersThis only dims with an external signal which must be wired separately from the power wires. See: http://www.lutron.com/en-US/Education-Training/Documents/10V.pdf for more information. You cannot dim these units over the power wires like residential LED lighting.

Specifications: 3000 lumens, 32 watts, 4000k color temperature (cool white) good color with decent non glaring light. Light is adequate for my small kitchen area (11 X 14). Instant on and no flicker.
Pro's. Easy installation into the suspended ceiling. I had 5 inches of clearance above the track more than sufficient for easy insertion. Wire access to the interior is through a well designed access cover plate or numerous knockouts in the case. Electrical connections are simple to make using the push-in wire connector installed.
Con's. The Instruction sheet has ample information on installation but an abundance of cautions about ways to damage your light when installing. With all the issues mentioned it seems like any problems encountered are your fault. My take is if you purchase this do not have a problem. There is a 5 year limited warranty but nothing about how how to register for it. Be sure to save your receipt as without it there is no coverage at all.
Professional installers I caution, DIYers may want to look elsewhere.

This review is for the 3000 lumen 2x2 LED Troffer with smooth lens. This fixture is similar to the 2500 lumen fixture with a prismatic lens but we prefer this one as it's brighter and the smooth lens appears cleaner and still disperses the light adequately. The unit is dimmable only with a separate 0-10V signal wire so if you plan on dimming it without adding that circuit, you'll be disappointed as it cannot be dimmed over the power wires. This is standard for commercial fixtures. The product replaced a 2x2 fluorescent dual u-tube fixture which before and after photos are attached. The LED appeared brighter and cleaner than the previous fixture. The drawbacks we found were the hold down clips. They are NOT movable but part of the metal case and if your orientation if fixed based on the power location from the previous fixture, the tie downs may not be on the strongest ceiling grid members. The lens also is VERY thin and fragile, these two negatives prevent this from being a five star product. Because the lens is so fragile, ordering this unit for delivery to home is not recommended if you can pick up in store, the chances of not getting a broken lens are better and may save you the grief of having to return it due to a broken lens.
